Dr. Shawn Michael McFarlandShawn was born in Longmont, Colorado. His family moved to Tucson in 1979 when his father, Blair, was transferred with IBM. He graduated from Sabino High School in 1994 and then served a two year mission for his church in the New England States. When he returned from his mission he re-enrolled to the University of Arizona. He graduated with a B.S. degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology in May 2000. That fall he entered dental school at Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. Immediatley after dental school he returned to Tucson to practice dentistry and joined Randall E. Knuth DDS. In 2007 Dr. McFarland became the owner of Knuth & McFarland DDS PLLC and in 2014 the business name was changed to Shawn McFarland DDS PLLC. Shawn and his wife Jessica enjoy spending time with their five children: Cade, Calen, twins Reese and Riley, and Ryker. His favorite past-times include fly fishing, golf, church activity, and football card collecting.
Mary - I am a native Tucsonan and graduated from Pueblo High School. Worked as a radiology tech assistant for almost 8 years before pursuing a career in dentistry. Attended Pima Community College for hygiene and graduated in 2007. I began working for Dr. McFarland as a full time hygienist in November 2016. I love working in this office and my career helping patients with their dental care. The relationships developed over the years have been wonderful. I have one beautiful daughter in college pursuing her broadcast journalism degree while playing collegiate softball. In my spare time I travel to attend my daughters softball games and also am an independent distributor for a health and wellness company.
Cassi - I am a fourth generation native Tucsonan. I graduated from Sahuaro High School a year early, in 2001 and went straight into dental assisting school at Pima CC. I truly enjoy assisting and helping patients with their dental care. I am a mother of three beautiful daughters. Our family loves to travel. We spend most of our summer at the lake. We also frequent Mexico, Disneyland, and the White Mountains. I am an artistic and creative person who likes to read and paint. I most enjoy spending time with my girls and family. I also love music, concerts, and cooking.
Angela - I graduated from PMI for dental assisting in 2008. Over the years I have gathered experience to work both front and back office duties. I love to be able to help anywhere I can. One of my favorite things about the field of dentistry if the interaction with patients. Outside of the office I am a wife and mom of 2 kids along with a pup. As a family we enjoy traveling and making memories wherever we go.
