Dr. McCarron completed her college education at the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. After practicing as a dental hygienist for 18 years, she attended the University of Florida, where she earned a degree as Doctor of Dental Medicine. Upon graduation, Dr. McCarron moved to Key West where she opened her first dental practice. Since then, she has completed over 500 hours of continuing education and has earned her Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. She is also a member of the Academy of Oral Medicine and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Christy moved from her hometown of San Diego, California to Miami, and now resides in Key West. She is proud to call Key West and Dr. Julie McCarrons dental practice her new home. Christy has been working in the dental field since 2000. Insurance and treatment plan coordinating is a large part of her role, making the dental experience at our office as smooth and great as possible. She lives with her husband, Ian, and their Yorkshire Terrier, LeLu. She enjoys traveling, paddle boarding, working out, biking, walking, meal prepping, and photographing her adventures.
Robyn is originally a Georgia peach. She entered dentistry in 2006 as a Dental Assistant. She then went on to finish hygiene school and received her bachelor's degree. She has been practicing as a Registered Dental Hygienist for the last eleven years.
Robyn enjoys the slower pace in the Florida Keys, opting for palm trees instead of Georgia pines. She spends her free time with her husband on the dock or at the dog park with her Great Pyrenees named Bear.
Simona is originally from Czech Republic. She relocated to Key West in 2000. For the past fifteen years Simona has been an integral part of Dr. McCarrons team. She is certified in General Chair side Assisting, Radiation Health and Safety, and Infection Control. Simona loves to make her patients feel comfortable and confident in the care she is providing during dental treatment. She resides in Key West with her husband, Danny, along with their two children, their dog Sammy, and cat Popeye. Simona loves spending time with her family and friends, dining out, and traveling back home for summers to the Czech Republic.
Taylor moved from her hometown of Richmond, Virginia to the upper Keys, in the spring of 2021. Her career as a dental assistant began right out of high school, as she completed her associates Degree in Specialized Science. She has now been practicing for 6 years. Taylor has always had an interest in all aspects of dentistry. She enjoys helping patients achieve their own personal smile goals. Whether Taylor is in her Jeep, on the boat, kayaking, or biking through town she thoroughly enjoys exploring the Keys.
