We will be more than happy to submit all insurance forms for you and help you recover the most from your benefits. We will do everything we can to help you afford the treatment you need and want. For patients who require major work, a complete payment plan is designed with an appropriate payment schedule. Forms of payment accepted by the office are check, cash, major credit cards and Care Credit dental financing.
'Dr. Matt' graduated from South Gwinnett High School in 1991. He attended Emory University for his undergraduate studies. He then completed his dental education at the Medical College of Georgia School for Dentistry in 1998.
Dr. Matt is devoted to organized dentistry, the protection of patients' rights and the practice of dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, the Northern District Dental Society, the Hinman Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Pierre Fauchard Academy (an international honor dental organization), and the International College of Dentists. He has been involved with the Gala for Smiles (a charitable event that raised monies to support local dental clinics) for 15 years. He also supports the Brighter Smiles for Brighter Futures (donated dental whitening to help purchase digital mammography equipment for the Gwinnett Hospital System Foundation) and volunteers with the Good Samaritan Clinic. Dr. Matt is part-time faculty at The Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University (formerly the Medical College of Georgia) and also provides hospital-based dental care at Eastside Medical Center.
Dr. Megan' graduated from South Gwinnett High School in 1999. She then completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Georgia with a degree in Biology. She was the last sibling to graduate from Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry.
Dr. Megan is a member of the American Dental Association, the Georgian Dental Association, the Northern District Dental Society, the Hinman Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. She participates with the Georgia Baptist Mobile Mission and enjoys working alongside her brothers and her cousin.
Dr. Rachell Velasco received two undergraduate degrees from Florida State University in Biology and Exercise Science. She continued her education by graduating from Georgia State University with a Master of Science degree in Microbiology. Dr. Velasco attended the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University, graduating in 2017.She pursued advanced education in dentistry in a one-year general practice residency at Louisiana State University where she received advanced training in medically compromised patients, oral surgery, implantology, and moderate sedation.
Dr. Velasco is passionate about dentistry in the community and has participated in many community outreach programs both locally and internationally. She was part of a team that traveled to Nicaragua in 2007 bringing basic dental supplies to rural areas, educating children on the importance of proper oral healthcare and how to properly take care of their teeth. In 2016, she joined a team that traveled to Haiti performing oral surgeries for the patients of rural communities. Dr. Velasco has participated in other volunteer events including Georgia Missions of Mercy and Louisiana Missions of Mercy performing oral surgery procedures for patients over a two-day period. Dr. Velasco is a member of the American Dental Association, the Hinman Dental Association nominee, the Georgia Dental Association, the Louisiana Dental Association, the Hispanic Dental Association, and the New Orleans Dental Association.
