At Mayo Family Dentistry, we are dedicated to honesty, loyalty, and kindness coupled with comprehensive and gentle dental care for children and adults of all ages. Our educated and experienced team has been providing quality dental care for residents of Loudoun County for nearly 40 years. We are a family owned and operated dental practice and take great pride in being active in our local community.
Dr. Ryan Mayo moved to Leesburg in 1976 where he attended Loudoun County Public schools. Dr. Ryan and his wife, Heidi, currently live in Waterford, Virginia with their two daughters, Gwenyth and Juliette. Dr. Ryan enjoys living and working in Loudoun and enjoying all the area has to offer.
Dr. Gregory Mayo was bornin San Francisco, CA in 1975 during his fathers general practice residency with the United States Air Force. Dr. Mayo and his wife Elsbeth grew up in Leesburg and attended Loudoun County schools. Both of their families have lived in Leesburg for more than 30 years. Dr. Mayo really enjoys being a dentist and raising his four children in the community that his entire family loves.

Always friendly and excellent dentistry from a native Loudoun County Virginia family and business. They use the latest proven dental best practice techniques, accept insurance and are really good about sending reminders and offering prudent individualized advice. For example, my teeth were very sensitive so after my my cleaning appointment the hygenist gave me some sensodine toothpaste to try and it worked to alleviate my pain. They have also been available on several occasions to help me when I have had dental emergencies. Once a tooth cap fell out and they fixed it the same day! Once I had a tooth break - again same day emergency service. I can't say enough except that if you are fortunate enough to be a patient here count it as a blessing.

We love Mayo Family Dentistry! However, the hygienist that Aidan had yesterday was new and did not have the friendliness that we are used to. Further, she didn't automatically schedule his next appointment, saying that he wasn't able to do that. I was a bit surprised that I had to ask and with her rather gruff attitude.

I have attended Mayo Family Dentistry for about 4 years. I am so glad I made the switch because I feel like an actual member and not just another patient that comes in. They know me by name and I have loved all the hygienists that I have had a cleaning with. They are always there for recommendations and I always feel great walking out!

Always a great experience with the Mayos and Company. The Hygienist are caring and efficient and Doctor Ryan Mayo saved me on a Saturday prior to a wedding he was going to to pull a healthy but cracked mollar (DO NOT CHEW ICE!). That was a difficilt job for sure and think Doctor Ryan was just as miserable pulling it out as I. He was masterful at his trade while very caring in his service. I have a new, beautiful tooth for Christmas, can chew on that side, and I can't thank him enough. All the services are great from the desk to the doctors. They recommend and perform only the work needed and are very trustworthy. They are the best and have me as a customer for a long as I have teeth. The way they take care of mine, looks like it's gonna be a long relationship. God Bless.

Holly's garden is doing well, and her chickens are socializing, now that the rooster has been put in the pot. She doesn't want a trail easement on her property. Dr. Ryan needs to hear about my trip to the Copenhagen Jazz festival, lots of great bass players. He has another career opportunity. Hey Dr. Greg!
