Dr. Lonnie Guardiola was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. After high school, he attended the University of North Texas where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. It was also there that he met his wife, Ashley. From there, he went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas. He maintains membership with the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, North Texas Dental Society, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentists, Academy of Sleep Dentistry, Seattle Study Club and The Spear Institute.
Dr. Guardiola has a progressive view of dentistry and how he relays information to his patients. His passion is in educating his patients about their oral health and its role in their overall well-being. Dentistry has a perception of being something you have to do versus something you want to do. My goal is to change that, and to increase the awareness of the benefits of what modern dentistry has to offer. I think youll find relatively quickly, that our team is unique. Were not here to judge or point fingers, but to help you understand and enjoy your health. The mouth is a window to whats going on with the rest of the body, often serving as a helpful vantage point for detecting early signs and symptoms for systemic disease. Dentists are frequently the only medical professionals that some people see on a consistent basis, and because of that, we may recognize certain signs of an underlying condition that many would write off as part of just getting older such as being tired all the time, snoring, or even headaches and neck pain. Wouldnt it be a relief for you or a loved one to not experience these on a daily basis? Sure, we want to create beautiful smiles, but dentistry is not about just teeth anymore. We would be remiss to think otherwise.
In addition to his passion for dentistry, Dr. Guardiola enjoys fishing, fitness, classic cars, and spending time with his family. Dr. Guardiola and his wife have a two year old daughter named Eva. He and his family are members of Watermark Church, and through them, volunteers at the Questcare clinic in Dallas to provide dentistry to those who are otherwise unable to afford it. Getting to know and serve the people of Wylie over the past five years has been a tremendous blessing. It really reminds me of my own hometown; easy-going, hardworking people that want to be the best they can for their families. I hope to deliver the best dental care possible, and that our patients see us as an extension of our family. I couldnt think of a better place to raise one.
Dr.Eggartwas born and raised in her home state of Louisiana. She attended the University of Arkansas where she graduated with honors from the William J. Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences with a degree in Biology. She was an active member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority and President of the Pre-Dental Society. After college she moved to Dallas, Texas to attend Texas A&M University, Baylor College of Dentistry. While in dental school, Dr.Eggartserved on mission trips throughout the country and internationally. She was also involved with craniofacial research, and was a leader in several student organizations. In her free time, Dr.Eggartenjoys spending time with her husband, Marc, traveling, fitness, hiking and spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Pope is a Dallas native and graduated high school from Jesuit College Prep. He received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Southern Methodist University in 2005, his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Baylor College of Dentistry in 2009, and his Master of Science in Oral Biology and Certificate in Periodontics from Baylor College of Dentistry in 2012. Dr. Pope is a board-certified periodontist by the American Board of Periodontology. In addition to maintaining a private practice limited to periodontics, minimally invasive surgery, and implant dentistry, Dr. Pope is an adjunct clinical professor at Texas A&M College of Dentistry teaching implant placement, bone augmentation, and minimally invasive surgical procedures to post-doctoral residents. Dr. Pope has authored or co-authored numerous publications that have appeared in text books, periodontal, hygiene, and dental journals. Dr. Pope has been named to D Magazines Best Dentist list and Texas Monthlys Super Dentists list since 2017. Dr. Pope is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, American Board of Periodontology, Southwest Society of Periodontists, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and Dallas County Dental Society. Dr. Pope looks forward to serving our patients here in the Wylie, Sachse, Murphy community.

I had to have a scaling/deep cleaning but it was absolutely as wonderful as it possibly could have been. The staff, office, creature comforts, everything was wonderful!

There is not a better or more professional dentist office anywhere! They are respectful of your time. They throughly explain all procedures and answer any questions. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

My visit with Dr. G and his team (Michelle, Jody) was a sparkling success just like my polished teeth. From the welcome on arrival to the meticulous care I was given during my oral cancer screening, teeth cleaning, doctor exam and check-out was seamless. Feeling great! I had my cleaning today with Sarah, she is the bomb. That girl knows her stuff. I always seem to leave with a laugh. I also love Sandra, you can catch her helping alongside the Dr'S or at the front desk to say goodbye on your way out. I started with Dr Guardiola a long time ago and now get to see Dr Eggart who is just as sweet. I love the care I get from everyone at the office. Very professional staff. I always feel welcomed. Highly recommend
