Immediately following his undergraduate studies at BYU, Dr. Aanderud served a 2-year mission in Argentina and speaks Spanish fluently. He then went on to study dentistry at OHSU Dental School graduating with honors.
Dr. Doyel graduated from OHSU Dental School in 1997 with honors. He has been honored as a Top Dentist in Oregon for eight years in a row and is the founder of Deserving Smile, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to reconstructing entire smiles for deserving individuals.
Dr. Brock Nichols is from Lindon, Utah and has recently relocated to the Portland Metro area with his wife, Hannah (a Portland native) and 3 children. He attended Brigham Young University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Economics, and then continued on to the. University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry where he completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, receiving the Community Dentistry Outreach Award and the Quintessence Award for Clinical Achievement in Restorative Dentistry. He is very much a people person and his passion is working with patients to help them achieve their dental goals. Dr. Nichols is diligent in his pursuit to provide the professions leading dental care procedures, while utilizing state-of-the-art technology.

Today was my first appointment with Maxus.The whole experience was exceptional, from the Office Manager Carole, to the Hygienist Mackenzie, and the dentist, DR Nichols. They were very professional and personable. I highly recommend them.

I was not satified with the Xray part; it was hurt a lot. But I recommend dental hygine person, McKenzy who was very nice and gentle when she removed the cavities from teeth.

I had a great experience! Everyone was very polite. Carole was amazing and so so sweet. Jen was very thorough and communicated very well with Dr. Nichols. Dr. Nichols was personable and explained my exam and findings in detail. I'm so glad my husband found them!

As a new patient I couldn't have felt more welcomed and cared for. My first point of contact was Carol (She is truly everything customer service should be and more). The rest of the staff was each incredible in their own way. As for Dr. Nichols, I think he genuinely cares for his patience's and is an awesome dentist. I would highly recommend this office.

I am just like most folks, I don't enjoy going to the dentist. However, Maxus Dental has changed me. Carole, Mykie, and Dr. Nichols are super professional and were able to calm my nerves. If I felt the slightest amount of pain, they were on it to make sure I had added pain relief. Carole is so sweet and Dr. Nichols was kind enough to call and check up on me after his long and busy day. I am pleasantly surprised by the upgraded technology here, too. If you want to feel good about going to the dentist, make an appointment here!

I feel that my oral health is very well looked after with Maxus. Dr. Nichols was able to fill a small cavity in about 12 minutes with minimal pain. Excellent teeth cleaning, great advice and friendly staff.
