Dr. Maxine Vu was born in Saigon, Vietnam, and came to the United States at the age of seven. Her family had escaped Vietnam by boat in 1982 from the Communist regime to seek freedom and a better life in America. She grew up in Virginia Beach, Virginia. After graduating high school at the top of her class, she earned a full academic scholarship to attend the University of Virginia where she received her Bachelor degree in Biology and minor in Anthropology in 1995.
Passionate for a career in health care and helping people, she continued her doctorate studies at Columbia University, School of Dental and Oral Surgery in New York City and received her D.D.S. degree in 1999. She continued her training after dental school at Morristown Memorial Hospital residency program. She worked as an associate in private practice in Morris County after completing her residency and established her own office in 2006 in Denville, NJ.
Dr. Vu currently resides in Somerset County with her husband and three children, Abigail, Bridget and Nathaniel. She stays active in her church and community and loves spendingquality time with her family hiking and traveling.
Lori Eisinger, office managerI started with Dr. Vus practice at the front desk three years ago and am currently her office manager. Ive been in the dental profession for over thirty years, as dental assistant, insurance specialist, and office manager, as well as some years working for Delta Dental insurance company. My main goal is to be sure that the patients have a pleasant experience in our office and fully understandtheir insurance, financial obligations and treatment plans. Ive enjoyed getting to know all of our wonderful patients over the years.
I was raised and am still residing in Denville, NJ. I am lucky to have my two sons and their families living close by and I enjoy spending time with them. I also love cooking, making wine with Rick and friends, attending activities for my granddaughter and playing with our puppy.
Amina Hakim, dental assistantI joined Dr. Vus team six months ago as her dental assistant. It is my goal to promote an atmosphere of comfort and trust by attending to our patients with compassion and enthusiasm. I strongly feel good dental health is very important for our overall health. Ive enjoyed getting to know our patients on a personal level. The true reward for meis seeing them leave our office content with the care they received. Working with Dr. Vu has taught me a lot. Im proud to work with an extraordinary dentist who is honest and caring. Her dedication to patient care makes my job incredibly fulfilling and rewarding.Im currently studying dental hygiene part-time at Bergen Community College. I live in Parsippany with my husband and enjoy cooking, shopping and spending time with my family and friends.
