Dr. Maxine Vu was born in Saigon, Vietnam, and came to the United States at the age of seven. Her family had escaped Vietnam by boat in 1982 from the Communist regime to seek freedom and a better life in America. She grew up in Virginia Beach, Virginia. After graduating high school at the top of her class, she earned a full academic scholarship to attend the University of Virginia where she received her Bachelor degree in Biology and minor in Anthropology in 1995.
Passionate for a career in health care and helping people, she continued her doctorate studies at Columbia University, School of Dental and Oral Surgery in New York City and received her D.D.S. degree in 1999. She continued her training after dental school at Morristown Memorial Hospital residency program. She worked as an associate in private practice in Morris County after completing her residency and established her own office in 2006 in Denville, NJ.
Dr. Vu currently resides in Somerset County with her husband and three children, Abigail, Bridget and Nathaniel. She stays active in her church and community and loves spendingquality time with her family hiking and traveling.
Lori Eisinger, office managerI started with Dr. Vus practice at the front desk three years ago and am currently her office manager. Ive been in the dental profession for over thirty years, as dental assistant, insurance specialist, and office manager, as well as some years working for Delta Dental insurance company. My main goal is to be sure that the patients have a pleasant experience in our office and fully understandtheir insurance, financial obligations and treatment plans. Ive enjoyed getting to know all of our wonderful patients over the years.
I was raised and am still residing in Denville, NJ. I am lucky to have my two sons and their families living close by and I enjoy spending time with them. I also love cooking, making wine with Rick and friends, attending activities for my granddaughter and playing with our puppy.
Amina Hakim, dental assistantI joined Dr. Vus team six months ago as her dental assistant. It is my goal to promote an atmosphere of comfort and trust by attending to our patients with compassion and enthusiasm. I strongly feel good dental health is very important for our overall health. Ive enjoyed getting to know our patients on a personal level. The true reward for meis seeing them leave our office content with the care they received. Working with Dr. Vu has taught me a lot. Im proud to work with an extraordinary dentist who is honest and caring. Her dedication to patient care makes my job incredibly fulfilling and rewarding.Im currently studying dental hygiene part-time at Bergen Community College. I live in Parsippany with my husband and enjoy cooking, shopping and spending time with my family and friends.

highly recommended, she works to perfection and is very safe with it. i use to be terrified of the dentist for 20 years then i met her, and now i don't mind the visits.

Doctor Vu is amazing! She is very professional, friendly, and makes sure you are comfortable and pain free during your visit at the office. They are doing a great job at keeping a safe environment during this COVID-19 pandemic. Don't postpone your visit, schedule an appointment with Dr. Vu and you won't be disappointed!

Dr. Vu has been my dentist for 12 years. I have recommended her many times and many of my family members also go to her. Dr. Vu is an excellent dentist and her office and staff are top notch. She cares about her patients and will remember details you've discussed. Her practice is a kind, safe space. She has a close relationship with other dental professionals and doesn't hesitate to refer her patients to them if needed. I highly recommend her!

Dr. Vu and her staff are caring, professional and highly effective. After years of suffering self-serving dentists and having my teeth tortured with braces and invisalign, I'm finally in a good place with permanent behind-the-teeth brackets (not braces) to keep my front teeth from further wobbling. I've been to the "best" in Manhattan and Ridgewood; Dr. Vu and staff are far better.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Vu and her staff. Even during Covid, she has accommodated both myself and my husband and we felt very safe. We both had a lot of work to be done, and we had a time frame to do this. She met our needs in every way. She planned and worked with us, and we are so very thankful! She is professional and yet very personable, as is her staff...You don't always find that, and we are glad that we found her. With me she worked hard In Completing what needed to be done...she is meticulous, addresses procedures and exceeded expectations. This is the first time that I had a dentist who cared, took your pain issues into consideration, was kind, and the end results was more than I had expected...I always had a fear of the dentist but not with her. Don't wait...rest assured especially during a pandemic, you will be safe and taken care of! She cares about her patients and make you very comfortable. She is the best!

I had such a great experience at Dr. Vu's office. The staff is so friendly and made me feel comfortable right away. Tracy was my dental hygienist and she did a fantastic job and was so kind! She explained everything she was doing and was so gentle! I usually dread going to the dentist but I am looking forward to my next appointment here!

Dr. Vu is open and in compliance with the new COVID 19 guidelines. As normal, Dr. Vu's work was impeccable and I felt no pain. I was glad Dr. Vu was able to see me during this time and made sure the office, staff and machinery had the proper protection.

Dr. Vu and her staff are truly professionals. Dr. Vu has put together a well-structured plan to manage patient care with respect to COVID-19. From patient ingress/egress controls to investment in PPE, specific air filtration, and tools that minimize dispersion of oral contaminants, it is clear Dr. Vu and her staff care about the safety and well-being of their patients. Furthermore, Dr. Vu and her staff always promote a friendly and calming environment.

The office and staff are immaculately clean and she takes all precautions to make you feel safe during these times.
