A native of Kentucky, Dr. Ashley Maxam grew up in Winchester. She attended George Rogers Clark High School and graduated from Eastern Kentucky University in 2005 with a bachelors degree in biology. Following her undergraduate training, Ashley attended the University Of Louisville School Of Dentistry, graduating in 2009.
Prior to opening Maxam Family Dental in Berea, Dr. Maxam practiced in southern Illinois for 5 years with Shawnee Health Services. During that time, she was able to gain lots of training working with children and the underserved population of southern Illinois. She attended several continuing education courses in pediatric dentistry and oral surgery. As a general dentist, she enjoys being able to make her patients feel comfortable while providing a wide variety of dental services. Although the experience in southern Illinois was wonderful, Dr. Maxam always had aspirations of moving back to Kentucky.
With her growing family of two children, she and her husband, J.R., decided to make the transition back to her home state of Kentucky. Dr. Maxam and her family currently reside in her hometown of Winchester. She is excited and looking forward to serving the Berea community.
She graduated from George Rogers Clark High school in 2007 and graduated hygiene school at BCTC in 2011. Alex has been serving the Berea area for over 4 years now. She enjoys spending her time as mommy to her two beautiful daughters, Bella and River.
She graduated from Madison Southern High School, attended Eastern Kentucky University and completed her dental assisting degree in Lexington in 2005. She is the proud momma of two beautiful kids, Courtney and Chaz.
She is a Berea native and graduate of Berea Community High School and Berea College. She has been at Maxam Family Dental for 4 years. Linda is an avid gardener and Mimi to 3 and a half beautiful grandchildren.
She graduated from Jackson County Highschool in 2011 and completed her dental assisting degree at BCTC. Kristan has been at Maxam Family Dental for over 3 years. She enjoys spending her free time with her husband and animals.

I had just started coming to Maxam Family Dental to obtain some dentures after having a bad experience with a prior dentist and I have to admit that this is the place for me. The staff is extremely nice and they really care about their patients. I love everything about this place. I am so glad that I have a new and caring dentist not too mention that it's only a couple buildings down from where I live so that I can walk to and from my appointments. Very friendly,professional staff. I've never had to wait more than 5 or 10 minutes for my appointment. Dr. Maxam and all the hygienist's who've cleaned my teeth are very thorough and answered any questions I had. I highly recommend Maxam Dental.
