Dr. Menacher Jr. is originally from Chicago, IL. He spent the last two decades living and practicing dentistry in the Eau Claire area. He completed his under graduation from the Loyola University in Chicago and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Illinois, Chicago. He spent the first six years of his dental carrier serving in the United States Navy, Dental Corps.
Dr. Menacher Jr. is married and has four grown children. Biking, gardening, boundary waters canoeing, and cross-country skiing are some of his favorite sports. He has competed in 16 Birkebeiner cross-country ski races. In his free time, you can find him enjoying the company of one or more of his four grandchildren.
Kay is a dental hygienist at Dr. Menacher's Clinic. She received her degree from the University of Minnesota. She has been practicing for over 30 years and enjoys seeing patients of all ages. While cleaning her patients' teeth, she enjoys learning more about them, their family, and their interests. Seeing patients on a regular basis has created a bond of trust within her.
Being a dental assistant is both very rewarding and fulfilling for Sandy. It gives her an opportunity to meet new patients as well as catch with patients she has known for years. Her job entails assisting Dr. Menacher, taking x-rays, impressions, charting, and sterilization of instruments and rooms. She also enjoys working alongside Dr. Menacher as he is a very caring and thorough dentist.
For nearly nine years, Marilee has been the Office Manager for Dr. Menacher. She takes care of the day-to-day business at the office. Her duties include patient scheduling, dental records, specialist referrals, insurance, and much more.
In nine years, she has seen children grow quickly into adults and has enjoyed helping families continue their quest for a healthy smile. She enjoys the personal and individual interaction with her patients.
Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband as well as connecting with their three kids and 'FaceTime'. Visiting their two-year-old grandson who they adore is what she always looks forward to. In her spare time, she enjoys coffee, gardening, reading historical novels, and traveling.
Originally from Chicago, Dr. Menacher and Kathy Menacher moved to Eau Claire to start this dental practice over 23 years ago. In the office, Kathy enjoys and take pride in providing excellent customer service to the patients they serve. She loves working with people and helping them with their dental care needs. Together with Dr. Menacher, and the wonderful caring staff, she has created a quality, family-oriented dental practice that she takes great pride in.
Dr. Menacher and Kathy have four adult children and have been blessed with four wonderful grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family (possibly with a glass of wine), making cupcakes with my grandchildren, scrapbooking, traveling, and gardening.

I can honestly say that before I found this dentist I Hated going. Max is truly a great person and it shows in his care. He is always explaining everything in detail with every procedure. There is never any pressure to do anything that is not needed. I have felt like other dentists would push certain cleaning options on me to make an extra buck. That is definitely not going to happen here. He truly has my best interest at heart.

Excellent dentist! Our dentist of 15+ years retired and we were doubtful we would find one we liked as well. We have been THRILLED to find Dr Menacher and feel like we are in great hands. He is a great communicator and takes great interest in his patients. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone it he Eau Claire area.

Max is AMAZING. I was not asked to do this but felt it was necessary!! My background, I absolutely hate dentists, LOTS of bad experiences but Max changed that for me today. Max explained everything in depth and treated me like I was his own, cared if there was pain, cared that I understood what was going on and helped me made an educated decision on what I needed to do. No more pain, couldn't recommend him enough. My wife and I will not go elsewhere. If your on the fence just trust Max.

Always an educational and very pleasant experience with Dr Menacher & his team! Dr Menacher is extremely knowledgeable & doesn't treat you as a number he is patient & takes his time at each visit! My 4 year old loves going to see him & my whole family trust him. He is gentle, thorough, very kind & is work is done from the heart. He is without a doubt the best dentist in the area & we are very grateful for him. Definitely go see him if you aren't a patient already!

I just had one of the best dental experiences of my life. This dentist saw me ASAP because of a terrible toothache. He explained all of my options and respected my decision. He explained the X-ray in detail so that I could understand what was going on with my tooth. This professional did not treat me like an idiot, like I normally feel when talking to a dentist. He is caring and he is a good teacher. I felt no pain during the extraction and he even corrected a bad filling, with no pain. Great experience, at the dentist, wow.
