Bill, born and raised in Fond du Lac, attended Indiana University for undergraduate studies in business, Finance and Management and then Marquette University for dental school. He and his wife Sarah were married in 1997 and have two daughters and a son. Dr. Bill has taken continuing education classes specializing in cosmetic dentistry, TMJ disorder, Invisalign, and laser treatment. He is active in local, state, and national dental organizations and is a member of the Wisconsin Dental Association (WDA) and the American Dental Association (ADA).
Dr. Mike Messer is originally from Manhatton Beach, California. He graduated from Marquette School of Dentistry in 2010 and has been practicing in Wisconsin his entire career. Dr. Mike is excited to join Mauthe and Associates as a partner. Dr. Messer is now providing orthodontic services at the practice and has taken continuing education in Invisalign and impants. His affiliations include the Wisconsin Dental Association and the American Dental Association. He lives close to Fond du Lac with his wife and 4 children.
Dr. Meyer was born and raised in Madison. He completed his undergraduate studies in microbiology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He then traveled to Illinois to attend Midwestern University for his dental education and graduated with honors. Dr. Meyer is excited to join Mauthe & Associates family to practice his philosophy of preventive and conservative dentistry and will remain a lifelong student of education through continuing education courses. Outside of the world of dentistry, Dr. Meyer enjoys traveling, and trying new foods with his fiance Candace; Dr. Meyer and Candace will be married in August of 2021. In addition to eating good food, Dr. Meyer spends his free time staying active through running, tennis, and skiing.
Dr. Mauthe has now retired as of January 1st, 2018. He practiced here in Fond du Lac for over 40+ years and helped thousands of patients in that time. He saw dentistry undergoa plethora of changes and is proud to know that this office will keep up with the changes in this new millennium. He made a commitment to continually update our techniques and services with continuing education and we are happy to carry on that legacy. We are very lucky to have had him as a guiding hand in the way we practice dentistry here at this office and he will be missed. With his newly found extra time, he will be able to spend it with his wife, kids, and grandkids.
We currently accept the dental benefit plans of Delta Dental, Cigna, Humana, United Healthcare, and Blue Cross Blue Shield. Our team is able to look at your dental benefits and give you an estimate on the portion of the payment that you will be responsible for after the dental benefits have paid their amount. Just call and ask!

I doubt anyone loves going to the dentist especially when it's not just for a cleaning, but I have to say that my experience getting a crown put on this week was far better than expected. The doctor and staff were beyond patient. My experience was important to them and I could tell they were making sure I felt comfortable. I have no plans to leave this group anytime soon!! Thank you !!

My experience with Mauthe and Associates was wonderful. Dr Meyer and Karina were so kind and informed me of everything they were going to do prior to doing it. Karina is so skilled at making the tooth the right size, shape and color and Dr Meyer is so skilled at prepping the area and placing the post. Together they were a great team! I walked in without a front tooth and walked out with a beautiful new tooth in under 3 hours. Great experience!

I had a crown placed on a 25 year old cavity that chipped off and Dr. Mike and Kayla at Mauthe & Associates in Fond du Lac did an exceptional job! They explained the process beforehand and during the procedure and included what I owed out of pocket after insurance well before the procedure occurred. It went so well, that they didn't need to rebuild my existing tooth up for the crown placement, so my bill was less than the estimated cost. Dr. Mike and Kayla were very welcoming and easy to talk to. They were very caring, professional and were consistently trying their best to make me as comfortable as possible during the procedure. They completed it all in one day at their office, about 2.5 hours which included creating the crown at their office. I had minimal discomfort and would highly recommend them as I will definitely go to them if I need any dental procedures in the future.

Mauthe & Associates is an exceptional place. I have liked every single person I have worked with in this facility, they are all so kind. They go above and beyond to make sure you're comfortable and well informed at all times. Dr. Messer is kind, very knowledgeable, and does amazing work. I don't even dread going to the dentist because all the workers here are so wonderful, I feel like I'm with friends!

Dr. Mike is the best! He is extremely skilled, explains what he is doing and why, and makes sure you are comfortable at all times. The support staff is great, and for all these reasons we drive an hour from home with our family to receive these excellent services.

I switched dental providers a few years ago and I am so glad I did. Mauthe and Associates does an outstanding job on all my dental needs. From regular check-ups to bonding, to deep cleaning. My teeth have never felt so good. Also a special shout out to Magen my hygienist for the special attention and time she spends on me, such a nice person, so appreciated.

I have and do recommend Mauthe to everyone. I have gone there my whole dentistry life (2 years old into adulthood) and they have been wonderful every single visit. I had a procedure done today with Dr. Meyer and Heather which prompted my review as they were BEYOND wonderful. Dr. Meyer explained everything going on and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. He was incredibly polite to Heather and they made the entire 3 hour visit enjoyable, which is not what one would typically think about when sitting in a chair for dental work. Mauthe & Associates have always done amazing work and take good care not only of their clients but of their associates as well. I personally recommend Dr. Meyer, Heather, Magen, and both Dr. Mauthes, but I do not limit to them- I just haven't personally had much experience with the other associates. Everyone's always been cheerful and helpful. In addition, the receptions are always so polite and patient whether on the phone or in person which makes making the appointments biannually a little easier
