Such a seamless positive experience. View of the mountains and clouds out my window with relaxing Hawaiian art on the walls. I was able to watch Netflix during the procedure on a tv in the ceiling. Everyone in the whole office was so nice and accommodating. The number of times the doctor asked me if I was ok or needed anything during my procedure was too many to count, and he was kind and patient with his assistants as well. I felt so cared for. The chair was even a massage chair! I highly recommend this place if you need a root canal! Amazing!!!!

Dr. Dobson was great! I was visiting on business from the mainland and developed terrible tooth pain. He fit me in the same day, staying late past regular closing time, to do a root canal. He and the office staff were very professional and courteous. They worked quickly and did a great job, allowing me to return to my work - now virtually pain free.

I am one of those who is terrified of dentist. but Dr. Dodson was so wonderful, his staff and everyone else that assisted him with my root canal. I would highly recommend him. He is very pleasant and explains everything he is doing. I left there and never needed any pain meds at all. He is expensive but worth it.

BEWARE!!! This is the first time I'm giving a negative review, but feel it needs to be addressed. I was referred to Dr. Dodson because I was in excruciating pain from a tooth that needed attention right away. Being that he had 5-star reviews I thought I would be in good hands. Boy, was I wrong! In addition to rushing through the visit, he decided NOT to do anything to address the tooth causing my pain, curtly answered any questions I had, trying to speak to me in a pidgin english tone, totally unprofessional and brief. When I asked for a referral for a 2nd opinion he was bothered by my request and charged me for doing nothing at all. My referring dentist and next edodontist who I visited was shocked that nothing was surgically done, which they clearly saw needed that attention. Local people in Hawaii hardly ever complain when mistreated and just never revisit. I'm sure there are others out there who experienced the same thing I did but luckily for this dentist, they aren't wasting their time on him.

I had a root canal with Dr. Zach Dodson today and can say nothing but positive things. It was quick, the staff made me feel incredibly comfortable and the injections were not bad at all! (And I'm a sensitive person when it comes to dentistry!). He always warned me before everything he was doing. Highly recommend !!!

I have always been terrified of dental work. My body shakes and shivers when im in the chair. I came here after 4 days of incapacitating pain and they immediately knew I needed a root canal. The xray machine was uncomfortable for me as the tooth was in the very back, but the dentist said "lets work with what we have" and took the xray after the root canal when i was still numb. He told me "I have enough here to numb a horse" and I didn't believe him until he gave me SIX shots (I only felt 2 shots). Truth be told, I could have been stabbed in the cheek with a knife and wouldn't have felt it. The root canal was easy and low key. At no point did the specialist or assistant seem unsure about what to do. I didnt feel a single thing, and this is after almost a week of crying every day from pain and being unable to sleep. They gave me a calcium/iodine filling for now and im coming back in late September to get my temporary filling replaced with the real root canal filling. Then ill go to my general dentist and get a crown. Im so much happier. Thank you everyone!

I was referred here from Hawaii Family Dental for a procedure that HFD wasn't equipped to handle. Thankfully, Maui Endodontics was able to squeeze me in, so with a numb face, I made my way to their office. I was feeling pretty miserable, so I was extra thankful for the professional and friendly staff. You can always tell when a workplace puts extra emphasis on customer relations, and it was clearly evident in each staff person I interacted with. I especially appreciated Dr. Dodson explaining what he was doing during the procedure and providing warnings if he was applying pressure or if something might hurt. They also had great equipment, calming decor, and a very comfy dental chair, but to be completely honest, those things did not factor into my rating. If it hadn't been for their high quality staff, I would never have bothered to leave a review. ;)

I just want to state that work that gets done on my teeth has never been an easygoing experience. Dr. Dodson and his staff are AWESOME!!! I was put at ease by the friendly environment and the fact that they has a screen on the ceiling to have we watch something while the work was done just made the experience soooooo much better. What may have felt like a long process elsewhere, felt short but sweet and fun with Dr. Dodson and his staff.
