I had my first root canal therapy in December of 2014 and I was referred to Dr. Anish Patel. The tooth involved some very expensive dental work I had years ago and I was very nervous about damage to my previous work. Dr. Patel assured me that everything would be ok. Well, eight (8) years have come and gone and I have no complaints about the good doctor. He is indeed the best! And now unfortunately, I need another root canal on another tooth and even though my current dentist referred me to someone else, I didn't give a second thought to returning to Dr. Patel. He and his staff (including Jennifer) are par excellent in care and concern! The office is always clean and sterile and they all make you feel very comfortable and like family. This office gets my highest commendation. Thank you Dr. Patel!

I highly recommed Dr Patel and his team. They worked me in on short notice for a root canal. Was quick, easy and painless. He, I and his assistant (a positive and engaging lovely lady whose name escaped me) were laughing and enjoying ourselves. Outstanding service.

Was seen in office for a root canal. The best experience I've had. Dr was very personable caring and professional. Root canal was painless and quick. On a scale of one to 10 I would give him a 15

Dr. Patel and Marilyn were awesome! I didn't even feel it when he gave me the shots or did my root canal. Very happy that I went to Dr Patel.

Had 2 root canals done, Dr Patel was great, made sure I was comfortable, explained the procedure, and was very quick. Can't recommend him enough if you need a root canal.

I almost went to this office but they wanted over $700 and I have good insurance. Plus they were rude when it came time to verify insurance. I went to Dr Claussen instead who got me in sooner at Queen City Endo on Albermarle Rd and it was a wonderful experience for first timer like me for a root canal. This office wanted $700 and Dr Patel only charge $125. He numbed me 3 times so I was good! They were gentle and knowledgeable. I have good insurance Idk why it was such a difference but I have no pain the following day!

Despite receiving a root canal, this visit rates among the easiest and most pain-free dental visits I've ever experienced. Dr Patel was friendly, efficient, and explained every step to me. The concept of getting a root canal used to bring a sense of impending doom. It doesn't anymore!!

What an incredible experience. Doctor Patel is such a kind man and it's obvious how much he cares about his patients. He walks you through each step of the procedure and makes sure you have a clear understanding of the process. His staff was attentive and made sure all your needs were cared for. Upon arrival at this office, Jennifer was extremely pleasant and welcoming. Dr. Patel has the best professional personality and character about him. He is very friendly and makes you feel comfortable. I did not think that having a root canal would be an easy procedure, but this experience with Dr. Patel proved to be just that. I recommend this practice to anyone that needs to have this done. I appreciate how I was treated and how great the outcome was. I have yet to feel any pain. Thanks for all you do at Matthews Endodontic Center!!

Thank you to Dr. Patel, Becca, and Jessica. I had the best experience and am forever grateful. The root canal procedure was pain and stress free. I felt comfortable the entire time, and it was done so quickly. Highly recommended! Best service ever.

After waiting a month for my appointment, the receptionist called the day before saying they probably would just refer me back to my dentist. This is without seeing me. I asked her why they made me wait a month if this was the suggestion. There was confusion at the office as to what teeth I wanted them to look at. After actually taking xrays, I was told my root canal was terrible (old dentist from when I lived out of state). I told Dr Patel it wasn't my fault and I was there looking for help. He seemed more concerned if I was able to pay than anything else. I asked for options if money wasn't an issue. He then offered a few choices with no direction. I didn't wear my platinum with diamond wedding ring. I don't normally dress up for Dr appointments or flash piles of cash to prove myself. I was treated poorly and will be getting a second opinion as my new dentist suggested. I don't recommend. EDITED to add: I had just moved to North Carolina from out of state, 1000 miles away. I saw Dr Patel's office just before the Covid pandemic lockdown because he had an opening and was close to where I was staying. Seeing his office again was not 'self referring myself' as he states. It's a global pandemic!! Obviously he didn't pay attention when I spoke as I explained I had moved from out of state more than once.

Dr. Patel is awesome! He's helped my husband, Brian, with a root canal and now an abscessed tooth. He has wonderful bedside manners, and hasn't made my husband feel embarrassed because he needs quite a bit of dental work. Thank you Dr. Patel for showing my husband that dentist aren't so bad after all!

Had extreme pain in my tooth and was told I needed a root canal. Called this place after seeing great reviews and Jennifer was able to get me in the next day for my procedure. Dr Patel and assistant were all amazing, explained everything well and took care of me. I'm still sore but that's expected per his instructions. I def. don't want to have tooth problems to come back here and visit but... this is a top notch center who will take very good care of you. Thank you for being such caring professionals!!!
