Dr. Jeremy B. Matthews earned his dental degree from the University of Kentucky, where he graduated at the top of his class for excellence in restorative dentistry and earned his bachelors degree from Brigham Young University. He is pleased to have been practicing with his father and two brothers since 2002.
Dr. Matthews has taken numerous postgraduate education courses, specifically selecting courses focusing on cosmetic dentistry. He also has specific training in sleep apnea, root canal therapy, gum disease treatment, and restoring and placing implants to give you a smile that is as healthy as it is beautiful. Dr. Matthews is committed to lifelong education and is constantly evaluating emerging dental technologies to provide the best results in a minimally invasive manner and with a high emphasis on comfort. This commitment ensures you the highest level of care possible, both today and tomorrow.
Jeremy is married to Erica Matthews, and has five children: Easton, Skyler, Boone, Trek and Tatum. Dr. Matthews is pleased to be able to offer beautiful smiles in Saratoga Springs and the surrounding communities.
Dr. Corbin Matthews grew up in Provo, Utah. He attended Timpview High School and Brigham Young University. In 1999, he received his dental degree from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. He graduated at the top of his class and received awards of excellence in restorative and cosmetic dentistry. He also was the recipient of the OKU award, given to select students for excellence in academics. Dr. Matthews has been practicing in the Utah County area for over 13 years and has continued his training to include all aspects of dentistry, including wisdom teeth removal, implant surgery, oral conscious sedation and laser surgery.
Dr. Matthews comes from a family of dentists including: his father, Gary Matthews; his older brother, Blake Matthews; and his younger brother, Jeremy Matthews. Dr. Matthews is married to Lizzi Matthews and they have five children: Shay, Gracy, River, Linkin, and Rockwell. We at Matthews Dental & Orthodontics are excited to have Dr. Corbin Matthews join us at our practice, and he looks forward to caring for you and your family!
Dr. Austin Woodfield grew up in Highland, UT where he graduated from American Fork High School with honors. He became a Certified Dental Assistant while in high school and worked his way through college where he graduated from UVU with a Bachelors Degree in Spanish. He graduated from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine and received many awards for his clinical excellence in restorative dentistry including; implants, CAD/CAM same-day dentistry, and lasers. The clinical Dean nicknamed Dr. Woodfield, The Implant King and had him speak to incoming dental student candidates about his clinical achievements.
Outside of the office, Dr. Woodfield loves to be physically active and is married to his wife, Lacey Woodfield. They have two sons, Jaxton and Rhett. Dr. Woodfield loves what he does and cant wait to meet you.
Dr. Jason Johnson was born and raised in Utah, having grown up in nearby Provo. He stayed in Provo for his undergraduate degree at Brigham Young University before moving to Glendale, Arizona, for his dental training at Midwestern University. Dr. Johnson then completed his three-year Orthodontic residency at the University of Washington in Seattle.
Dr. Johnson is passionate about his family, particularly his wife and one-year old daughter Brooklynn. He is actively involved in his community and he enjoys interacting with friends made in many new places. Growing up in Utah helped develop his passion for the outdoors, especially snow skiing, wake-surfing, and hiking. He played competitive tennis for many years and still tries to play any chance he gets. Dr. Johnsons wife a personal trainer helps motivate him to stay physically active in the gym when not playing tennis or basketball.
Dr. Johnson is a board-certified orthodontist and strives each day to refine his skills as an orthodontist by attending frequent continuing education courses. He loves helping patients of all ages grow in confidence by creating beautiful smiles.
Hi, Im Taylor! Im the office manager at Matthews Dental and have worked for Dr. Matthews for four years! I was born in Idaho, but raised in Lehi, Utah. I married my high school sweetheart and we have one perfect little boy! I love sports, but my favorites are soccer and baseball. When Im not working, I love spending time with my family!
Hi, Im Kateland! I was born and raised in Utah, and I spent most of my childhood in a tiny farm town in southern Utah called Minersville. I love softball and baseball with volleyball and football coming in as close seconds. I could get lost in reading books for several hours, as well as looking through a good cookbook and picking new recipes to try. Having friends and family over to try the new recipes are some of my favorite nights. Two fun facts about myself are that I am unable to cross my eyes OR whistle, and dad jokes are my favorite! What do you call a fish with arthritis? .. A two-knee fish!
Hi! Im Sarah, a dental hygienist here at Matthews Dental. I graduated from hygiene school 20 years ago and have a passion for all things teeth! I grew up eating potatoes in Idaho, but love traveling and trying exotic new foods from anywhere and everywhere. I have five awesome kids and one fabulous husband that mean the world to me. We love cheering for the Cougars, adventuring outdoors and growing a garden. Two fun facts about me: I lived in China for 2 1/2 years and have run 23 marathons!
Im Brittanee and Ive been a dental assistant with Matthews Dental since 2012. Im from a small town named Cedar Fort. I grew up on horses and rodeo was my life. I continued that through high school and earned a college scholarship. I have been married to my husband for 10 years and we have two little girls, Olivia and Remi. I love baking, cooking in my instant pot, and Im a diehard Target lover. Two fun fun facts about me: I met my husband through MySpace, and when I was in preschool I caught a bad guy and ended up on the news, in the papers, and earned a spotlight in the Stadium of Fire for being the youngest crime stopper!

By far the best dental office you will ever go to. The staff and doctors are amazing. All those things that drive people nuts about going to the dentist..... they have eliminated it! Plus, I love how they are completely modern and up to date with treatments and tech.

I have been a patient of Matthews dental for roughly 7 or so years. My entire family has been. We have had all the work done over the years and I've never been unhappy with them. The dentists have been friendly and knowledgeable, and the hygienists are kind. I would have happily continued to go to them forever. They recently stopped accepting our insurance. I want to be clear that I respect their decision! It is their business and if they don't feel an insurance is good to work with it is completely their prerogative to not accept that insurance anymore. What I can't respect is their front office openly mocking and LITERALLY laughing at me for carrying that insurance. I received a somewhat confusing letter from Matthews dental stating that they no longer accepted our insurance but would still see us as patients. I'll take responsibility for not being up to date on that change. I called to clarify what they accepted because we had an upcoming appointment and wanted to verify before showing up. The associate who answered the phone went on a 10 minute tirade about how awful and unethical our insurance was. She said they were the "worst in the business" and how "people who actually care about their teeth" don't use them. Ummm what?!! We all understand how insurance works. You get what your employer provides for the most part, but thanks for making sure to let me know how inferior you find me. It left such a bitter taste and it was a saddening conversation to part ways on. I have always paid everything in full at my appointment. I've never received a bill from them yet I was made to feel as though I was a poor person who was trying to scam them on top of being an idiot who doesn't care about their own teeth.

Update to my review: I ended up getting a filling done here. After, my tooth was extremely sensitive for MONTHS. Months of not being able to have anything touch it at all. It was SO painful. When I went back in to have them check if it was infected or something they said it looked totally fine and it was because I'm "getting older"... I'm 27, have had many fillings in my life and never once had any kind of after-effects or pain associated. I'm wondering if the dentist drilled too deep, and didn't want to admit it? Not sure. It is still a bit sensitive at times, and that was six months ago. I won't be going back, because I felt that extreme pain was unexplained and unnecessary. Other than that, I was happy with my service. I have been warned by multiple people to avoid Matthews because their billing service is a nightmare. I hope they got that resolved. It does seem that they want to offer a high quality and great service! I suppose there is a learning curve to everything for everyone. I personally, haven't had an issue with the billing. (Previous Review, that I do still stand by) So far I have been very happy with Matthews Dental. I have only been twice, but both times everyone was super friendly, and holy EFFICIENT. Out of my two appointments I have probably waited 10 minutes total. Hardly no waiting here! Their new office is also gorgeous. (Props to the designer.) Both dentists were more than happy to explain how things worked to me. I actually learned how toothpaste works with the PH of your mouth...I'm 27 and no one ever taught me that before! I have good teeth health, but hadn't been to the dentist in two years for a cleaning. They didn't even shame me at all or make me feel bad like most dentists do, when it comes to not flossing or not setting regular appointments. Just overall a great experience. Definitely recommend.

Dr. Woodfield is adjusted my bite today. I appreciate his knowledge and ability not only to get it fixed and your done, but also how well he explains what is happening and why! That relieves my mind from thinking of worse possibilities! He also treats you like a good friend and concerned you're having an issue! I really enjoy getting my dental care at this office!!

Absolutely incredible staff! I called last minute for an emergency tooth extraction. They got me in that same day within a couple hours and stayed late to help me out. Would recommend 10/10! Been going back ever since.

Had a great first-time experience here with a routine cleaning! The office is high-tech! More importantly, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The Hygeinist and Dentist were professional, knowledgeable and exhibited excellent bedside-manners. The cleaning itself was a very comfortable experience! I'd happily recommend Matthews Dental to anyone.

I can't recommend this office enough! I came in for the first time in years, terrified that I would be judged for the amount of cavities I had. And I had A LOT! The hygienists and dentists were all so understanding! They emphasized to me that they see patients in my shoes every day, and that they would be able to fix everything up for me. I have never been to a better dental office. The work they did on my teeth was nothing short of astounding! They worked personally with my situation and made me feel confident in my smile again. For those of you who are afraid of the dentist like I was, this is the BEST place to go. Even if I were to move hours away, I would still make the drive here because the service is astounding. They even offer sleep dentistry! All in all, I can't recommend this office enough. Dr. Matthews and the other dentists here are first class dentists, and the staff loves the work they do! If you want to feel valued as a patient, this is the place to go.

Dr. Woodfield and all the staff are awesome! I had to get my first crown and it was so much better than I expected it would be. They even make crowns in house and are able to do everything in one visit. I highly recommend!

All I had done was a few fillings and it has been weeks and my teeth are still in so much pain. They are more sensitive than ever. I've been to many dentists and never been in this amount of pain. The whole process was unprofessional and the dentist was flirting with the assistant over the top of me and not discussing anything remotely close to my dental work! It is also very over priced. Do not recommend!!

Dr. Woodfield and his staff are amazing. We have had great experiences with them on several occasions. It is clear that Dr. Woodfield cares about his patients as individuals. He has taken such sweet care of my son who had a tooth absess.

I was in the office for a routine check-up. The hygienist, Sarah, provided the most comfortable cleaning I have ever had. The dentist took the time to answer all my questions regarding work that needed to be done. It was a great visit!
