I grew up in Bastrop, LA in a dental family, and realized in college that I wanted to 'follow in dad 's footsteps.' After graduating from LSU School of Dentistry in 2002, I got married to Jennifer and we moved to Baton Rouge to take a job with a larger dental practice. The older dentists there were great mentors, impressing on me the importance of prevention in dentistry.
Jennifer and I moved our family to West Monroe in 2005. Our three children attend Claiborne Elementary and West Ridge Middle Schools. We are both involved in our church, teaching kids and youth Sunday Schools.
Our practice is a place where we treat the whole family. I really enjoy treating children, and I believe that being a dad has made me a better dentist. If you are looking for a dentist, we would love for you to visit our practice.
Matthew Turpin received his bachelor's degree in Microbiology from LSU and his Doctor of Dental Surgery from LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans in 2002. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Louisiana Dental Association, and the Northeast Louisiana Dental Association as well as local dental study clubs.
Dr. Turpin opened his West Monroe office in 2005, with a focus on providing high quality dental care for the whole family in a relaxed friendly atmosphere. He enjoys his patients- swapping stories and encouraging them to practice prevention to avoid dental problems.
