I had to switch dentists because of my insurance. I was worried about it. I was w my other dentist for 20 years. I had my appt and it was fantastic! I really impressed! The lady who cleaned my teeth was awesome! I highly recommend this dentist.

I had a scheduled appt at 11:00 . Another patient who had a morning appt who had forgotten and was very late was taken before me and taken care of . I however sat in the room for over an hour . I suffer from panic attacks and was extremely nervous the entire time . Dr. Thurman came in and evaluated me . I had a broke tooth and just needed the root pulled out . It had been broke over 2 weeks and was no emergency. And was not painful . The nurse comes in and tells me they are going to lunch and I need to come back after 1:00 . Well however inconvenienced what choice did I have . I came back at 1 and still other patients were seen before me . Finally after 2 more hours I was done . I recieved my bill and paid $362.00 . Paid in full . I have dental insurance that covers bite wing xrays and the exam . I was told apon checking out that the panoramic xray was not covered and I should have been told that to begin with . Then 1 month later I recieve another bill for $41.00 more for the exam . I called my insurance and they said all they needed to do was refile under either a routine exam or a comprehensive exam and it would be covered . The office refused to refile and tried to tell.me they treated me as an emergency appointment. Thats a lie this was a scheduled appt. And very inconvenienced by what should have been a 1 hour appt turned into over 4 hours .

Nothing but good things to say about Dr Thurman and his staff. All the hygienists have been great on all of my cleanings, and Dr Thurman was able to get me in quickly when I had an issue that needed special attention. An added plus is getting to see the beautiful Elk River while sitting in the dental chair for a cleaning.Would recommend to anyone needing a friendly and qualified dentist.

Dr. Thurman and his staff are excellent! They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. Dr.Thurman is always very knowledgeable and thorough. I would highly recommend him!

When my trusted, long-time dentist retired, I was nervous trying to find a new dentist. I had some really bad dental experiences when I was young. Dr. Thurman put me at ease and proved himself to be an excellent dentist. He is very sensitive to my concerns and a very skilled healthcare professional. I look forward to many years as his patient and a lifetime of healthy smiles.
