First and foremost,Dr. Matt and Dr. Lynn feel blessed to have the privilege of serving our community through the practice ofdentistry. Our office is designed to individualize each and every patients personal needs, from childrens dentistry to senior citizens, to advanced cosmetics.

Dr. R. Lynn Wiggs is a native of Raleigh, where he attended Broughton High School, then East Carolina University where he earned his B.A. degree in chemistry and biology. After he graduated from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry with a D.M.D. degree in 1974, Dr. Wiggs participated in a 2-year rotating internship in the U.S. Navy, where he received advanced training and experience in the various disciplines of dentistry.After the postgraduate training, he has remained in private practice in his current location on Six Forks Road in Raleigh since 1976.

Dr. Wiggs has been active in his community, where he has served as a deacon and Sunday School teacher at White Memorial Presbyterian Church.He was an active member of the Raleigh Jaycees and chaired the successful dental fund-raising campaign to provide a dental classroom for the Alice Aycock Poe Center for Health Education in Raleigh.He is past Area Chairman of Ducks Unlimited and was for many years, an enthusiastic Little League Baseball coach.He has been married to Carol Golightly Wiggs, of Raleigh, for 43 years, and they have two children, Dr. Matthew Judson Wiggs, and Meredith Wiggs Horner.Dr. Wiggs enjoys tennis, fly-fishing, collecting antique duck decoys and herding his four grandchildren!

Dr. Matthew Wiggs was born in Raleigh, North Carolina, where he attended Broughton High School. After graduating with honors from Wake Forest University with a degree in biology and chemistry, he followed in his fathers footsteps and entered the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. He earned his D.M.D. degree in 2011 and began a year-long General Practice Residency program at the University of Louisville Hospital.

This residency provided advanced training in all aspects of general dentistry within a hospital setting.The education included preventive and restorative dentistry, childrens dentistry, crown and bridge procedures, aesthetic and highly functional partial and complete dentures, implant retained over dentures, endodontics (root canals), periodontal treatment and surgery, teeth whitening, LASER training, implant placement and restoration, and aesthetic anterior crown and veneer cases.The hospital setting and patient base also greatly increased his knowledge and ability to handle medically compromised patients as well as emergencies that ranged from car accidents to dental abscesses and other tooth pain.

Dr. Wiggs returned to Raleigh during the summer of 2012 and joined his father at Wiggs Family Dentistry, where he continues to apply all aspects of his training.After a year long training at the Triangle Dental Institute, Matthew Wiggs has earned a fellowship status in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). It is the world's largest dental implant organization as well as the world's largest provider of continuingeducation on dental implants.
