The dental practice that is now known as Matthew J. Fiorentino DDS & Associates was first established at the corner of Kirkville Road and Washburn Drive in East Syracuse, NY, in the 1960s. Since 1991, the office has been located at our current location - 6431 Kirkville Road. Our practice has been providing outstanding patient care for more than 60 years, and our dentists meet all national and state training and licensing requirements.
Dr. Fiorentino graduated from Syracuse University in 1988 with a BS in Biology. He is also a 1992 graduate of the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Fiorentino completed his residency in 1993 at Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse.
A native of Watertown, NY, Dr. Niewieroski earned a BS degree from Clarkson University, an MST from SUNY Potsdam, and her DDS from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. She completed her professional education as the chief resident at St. Josephs Hospital Health Care Center in Syracuse.
Dr. Niewieroski is a member of the American Dental Association at the national, state, and local levels and a local CNY dentist club.She enjoys camping, spending time with her family and pets, and Syracuse University lacrosse.
Elaine earned her AS from Erie Community College and completed clinical requirements at the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, Roswell Park Cancer Institute, and Children's Hospital of Buffalo. She joined our office in 2001.
Jessica graduated from SUNY Canton Dental Hygiene School in 2014. She is married with three children, a chocolate lab named Stout, and a cat named Mew. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, jet skiing, and snowboarding.

I called their office at 8 AM and asked for an appointment as I had a broken tooth and was in pain. They asked if I could come in at 9:20 Sure could this was the 4th office I called. One told me over a week wait, another after several questions asked me about Insurance when I told them I didn't have insurance, sorry we have nothing available . Guess what folks I have a credit card and can pay my way. Another did not take new patients. Every person in this office I had contact with were very friendly, good intra personal skills and seemed to really care about my welfare. Dr. Fiorentino was very nice and caring. Guess what they called me at home the next morning and asked how I was doing. Is that a caring office. I highly recommend .

I can not say enough about this office. They are all fantastic. I grew up with a private small dentist office where everyone knows who you are and the dentist was gentle and patient. I have high expectations because of this, Dr. Niewieroski and Stephanie go above and beyond my expeditions for myself and my daughter. If you are looking for a comfortable, friendly and absolutely wonderful dentist office they are exactly what you are looking for!!

The staff was very pleasant and attentive. I will scene quickly and was given information to help me better my oral hygiene and what they recommend for a routine to get back to oral health. Thank you again for everything and I look forward to all the work to get my mouth back to reasonable level

I can not say enough about this office. They are all fantastic. I grew up with a private small dentist office where everyone knows who you are and the dentist was gentle and patient. Dr. Fiorentino is the best dentist. I had pain in my mouth and called his office hoping for an appointment. I was put on hold for less than 20 seconds and Nancy the receptionist came back to me saying Dr. wanted me to come right in. He solved my problem and I even got to work on time! It is so wonderful to be his patient; his staff is so well trained and friendly.
