Many patients today are understandably concerned about the radiation to which they are exposed during dental x-rays. Fortunately, advances in technology now allow us to offer our patients the safety of state-of-the-art digital x-rays.
Digital x-rays shield you from excess radiation because they reduce your exposure by about 80% compared to traditional film x-rays. Of course, x-rays have always been an invaluable diagnostic tool, but the images produced with digital technology take the diagnosis of conditions to a whole new level.
Now we can not only see precise details of whats happening inside a tooth, but we can also share it with you on your chairside monitor. Since the image is digital, we can enhance it just as you would any other photo by making it larger or smaller, zooming in on a particular area, and even rotating it. We strongly believe in patient education, and digital x-rays are a valuable tool because you can clearly see for yourself what the problem is and why we recommend treatment.
We store your digital x-rays securely on our in-house system, making them easily available for review by our doctors. Digital images can also be shared easily with specialists or your insurance company, and since there are no processing chemicals involved, our state-of-the-art x-rays are safer for the environment!

Dentistry has had similar changes, and thats why we have invested in several state-of-the-art technologies at our Phoenix, AZ dental practice. All of our x-rays are digital for better accuracy with much less radiation. We have intraoral cameras to get clear images of your teeth from all sides. Our DIAGNOdent system can identify cavities too small to see. We can even use special dental lasers for many treatments: They can painlessly remove excess or diseased gum tissue, improve gum grafts, and help bone grafts heal faster.

I was looking for almost a year for the right dentist to perform the All-On-Four procedure when I finally came across Dr. Matthew Cavendish. Dr. Cavendish is knowledgeable, compassionate, and patient and was able to make me feel comfortable and educated in the procedure and what was to be expected. The procedure took a few months and I could not have been happier with the final results and the care that I was given. I really feel as though I got my natural teeth back. Overall, great services, great dentist, and great staff.

Not a new patient, returned today for a crown and filing. Continue to return even though this is out of network for my insurance. Excellent, pain free, stress free visit every time. Hygienist is as awesome as the dentist. Office help and dental assistant always treat me with kindness and respect.

Great people all around. Reception/office staff does a great job managing appointments, insurance coverage and communications. Very conscientious hygienist, not only cleaning teeth but identifying possible problems. Dr Cavendish is high tech and on the ball as is the whole practice.

Have had several visits here and experienced nothing but professionalism, kindness, and, above all, patience! He makes sure my concerns/questions are addressed. He discovered a problem created elsewhere and is helping remedy that. His staff is great! Office is clean and comfortable.

Would give 0 if I could. He spends no time and after he did a horrible job with a crown 1 yr ago, and I mentioned a gap behind it, he still did nothing and now there is decay and that decay is into bone. I made appt. days in advance and said I needed it taken care of at that appointment (along with a filling that fell out) and I drove all the way and he spent 5 min with me and told it would be another $3700 for that tooth (mind you this was only ONE year ago that I paid for the crown!) and he didn't have time to fix the filling on other tooth. AND he said there was a cavity on the next tooth, that two other dentists since have said there is NO cavity on that tooth.Blatant arrogance and terrible dentistry. I have gotten TWO other opinions so far that have validate shoddy work. No wonder all his office staff have left. Didn't recognize anyone when I walked in and the back office girl had attitude to start with! And then he had the gall to charge my insurance for the visit -- even though he did nothing that I came in for!!! GO elsewhere!

Kind and gentle Dentist. Dr Cavendish is very quick and good. I would say if you need a dentist that does almost everything for your teeth go see him. You will like him very much.

The Doctors are great the dental assistants are great. The billing people that are in office have no clue. Huge mess up because the person doing an estimate didn't do there job right And to the fullest. Miss quoted big time. I have a family of 5 and I will not be returning be returning to this establishment because of the way business is handled, they will not take responsibility of their mess up. Hopefully paying double of what the quote was won't happen to anyone else.
