Dr. Matthew Scarpitti was born in Jacksonville, FL and grew up in St. Augustine, FL. After a short time playing college football, Dr. Scarpitti earned his B.S. in Exercise Physiology from Florida State University. He worked as a personal trainer in Jacksonville, FL before moving to Miami, FL to pursue a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Barry University.
Prior to starting dental school, he taught in the human anatomy lab at Barry University as an adjunct professor gaining detailed knowledge of head and neck structures. He moved to Omaha, NE to pursue his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Creighton University. While at Creighton, he provided care in every dental discipline while also rotating at the Omaha Correctional Center Ambulatory Dental Center, as well as One World Clinics and Charles Drew Health Centers, which provide care to the underprivileged within and around the Omaha areas. The unique clinical setting at Creighton gave Dr. Scarpitti the opportunity to gain exceptional experience in oral surgery, endodontics, periodontics, and prosthodontics. He performed numerous surgical extractions including full mouth extractions with the delivery of interim complete dentures, third molar extractions, and posterior crown lengthening surgery, all of which are normally referred to resident students in post-doctorate training.
Dr. Scarpitti was trained on the most up to date endodontics rotary instrumentation, as well as the more traditional techniques. He enjoys the cosmetic and restorative aspects of dentistry, as well as crown and bridge, implant dentistry, and complete and partial denture design and delivery. During his time in dental school, he gained an interest in forensic odontology, studying under Dr. Ken Hermsen, a forensic odontologist and endodontics professor at Creighton University. He was mentored by and continues to study with Dr. Christopher Stanoscheck, a faculty member at Creighton University in the prosthodontics department, which is a member of the prestigious Las Vegas Institute.
Dr. Scarpitti is a current member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Academy for Sports Dentistry, and the American Society of Forensic Odontology. He is the current Vice President of the Central Florida Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Scarpitti strives to stay current on all of the latest technology and procedures.
Dr. Scarpitti is an avid FSU fan. In his free time, he likes to fish, work out, and spend time with his wife, family, and friends. Dr. Scarpittis goal is to provide quality dental care for his patients in a comfortable, friendly, and compassionate manner.

I graduated from Lincoln Technical Institute in 2010 with my Expanded Functions Dental Assistant certification, and have enjoyed working in the dental field ever since. I strive to provide excellent care and make all patients comfortable during their dental visits. I enjoy continually learning new techniques and I love working with the new equipment and technology that Dr. Scarpitti has implemented in his office.
I have enjoyed being a hygienist for many years in the Orlando area. Educating my patients on how to achieve and maintain good oral health is my top priority. I strive to stay on top of the latest advances for treating periodontal disease in order to provide our patients with the latest therapies.
With over 30 years of customer service experience, I strive to provide patientswith a warm,friendly and welcoming experience. In the role of front office administrator, I am passionate about helping patients understand their dental benefits.
Since graduating as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant from Fortis Institute in 2011, I have enjoyed working in all aspects of the dental field. My favorite part of my job is making sure that each patient feels comfortable and receives the best standard of care. I also enjoy continually learning ;and integrating new technology into our office to ensure we are providing the best, state-of-the-art treatment available. My goal is to create a friendly, comfortable environment where each patient feels like part of our family.
I have been married since 2020 to the best husband, and we have two great puppies. We all enjoy being on the water, fishing, canoeing and enjoying nature. We also love taking road trips and traveling to new places.
