Dr. Cripe has been practicing dentistry in Dowagiac since 1990. Over the years, he has invested in new technology and equipment because he believes every patient deserves the very best available. He has many wonderful relationships with his patients and is now seeing the children of patients he treated when they were little kids themselves. Dr. Cripe enjoys each and every day at work.
Every year, Dr. Cripe attends many hours of continuing dental education. It is an exciting time to be practicing dentistry because with new treatment approaches, technologies, and materials available, were able to provide better care more comfortably. He concentrates on expanding his knowledge and skills in aesthetic dentistry, Damon bracket orthodontics, Invisalign, crowns, restoring dental implants, dentures, root canals, and periodontal care.
Dr. Cripe was born in Dowagiac. His family moved to Sterling, Illinois, when he was in the fourth grade. Even though they moved, he always kept connections in Dowagiac. Dr. Cripe decided to return to Dowagiac when Dr. Robert Neff asked him to take over his practice. Dr. Neff was his very first dentist and next-door neighbor when he was born! Matt married Beth (Judd) after his second year of dental school. They have two grown children, Andrew and Maggie.
Dr. Cripe and Beth are heavily involved with volunteering. They firmly believe its important to be involved with and to give back to our community. He has also made four medical/dental mission trips to Haiti.

Thank you for taking the time to be thorough. The atmosphere is warm and friendly and the pup is adorable. It is relaxing watching the wildlife out side the large windows. The hygienist was wonderful and didn't tear my mouth up. Some can be so rough, she was not. Very caring and gentle.

You will NEVER find a better dentist than Dr. Cripe. As a dental coward, I avoiding going to the dentist for many years. I tried Dr. Cripe when I needed a crown because he has nitrous oxide and does crown in one appt. As the worst dental patient EVER, Dr. Cripe put me at ease. My first crown appointment took nearly five hours (scheduled for 2). I was awful. He never got upset, talked to me calmly and got me thru it. I am now on crown #5 and its become a breeze (well, the gas DOES help). The staff is amazing. The gal doing the insurance works hard to get everything approved and always treats me with a smile. I highly recommend Dr. Cripe - you will NOT be disappointed AND you may actually enjoying getting a crown, along with the GAS!

Great experience recommend to anyone. Cheryl was great she did my Periodontal scraping she excellent at what she does. Staff extremely helpful and polite great experience I'm not done with my treatment yet. Glad I'm going to Matthew cripe dentistry

Dr. Cripe and his staff are wonderful! They make sure I was comfortable, and completed the procedure in no time at all. I'm totally impressed with Dr Cripe and his staff! A big shoutout to Stella the golden retriever she is the sweetest dog, also she helps with anxiety.

I drove three hours to visit Dr. Cripe on a recommendation from a dear friend of mine. I needed extensive work, and was apprehensive about seeing a dentist again, I've had bad experiences in the past. I let them know about my fears, and they were patient and gentle with me. At no point did I feel uncomfortable. Although I will need a few more visits, I was able to leave my appointment with a smile on my face, something I haven't been able to do in years. Thank you Dr. Cripe and staff.
