It is a very humbling and awesome privilege and responsibility to experience the trust that patients place in myself and my team. I do not take that responsibility lightly, and strive to ensure that each patient is entirely happy with all aspects of the care they receive.
As a dentist, I have the opportunity to care for people from a variety of backgrounds, all with unique life stories. Every day I look forward to the conversations I will have with my patients, as we talk and laugh together, learning from each other. The bonds that develop between my patients and me are strong, and I enjoy each of them.
I love working with my hands and mind to make the lives of others better. When I can remove dental pain, or reconstruct a persons mouth so they have improved function, or help them develop a healthy smile, Im making a positive difference in their life. Thats personally and professionally rewarding.
I received my Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Loma Linda School of Dentistry. That education provided me with an excellent foundational knowledge of oral healthcare. However, this is a field where there are new developments constantly happening, and I must stay current on those changes.
By keeping abreast of the latest technology and dental information, through participation in meetings, conferences, and seminars, I ensure my patients have access to the best treatment. To do anything less is not acceptable.
Im from the Modesto area and graduated from Thomas Downey High School. Now I live in Oakdale, with my wife, Cherie, and our two daughters. Cherie is a teacher at Central Valley Christian Academy in Modesto,and a childrens bible leader at church. Our two daughters, Manami and Mieko, enjoy being a part of their swim team and participating in tumbling.
When Im not caring for my patients, being with my family is my top priority. I also enjoy the outdoors and keeping active, whether Im running, biking, snow skiing, or wakeboarding. Constructive work is also good, especially home improvement projects and tending to the yard.

I began my career in 2009 as a dental assistant and returned to school to earn my hygiene degree in 2016. I love seeing huge improvements in my patients oral health and hygiene because of the care and education they received here. My goal is always to help my patients create and maintain healthy, happy, beautiful smiles. Our office is the best, with great people, positive attitudes, and a welcoming atmosphere.
My husband Aaron and I were married in 2017. We live in Hilmar with our daughter Madilyn who is involved with rodeo and 4-H, showing dairy cattle. We truly love spending time with each other and family any chance we get!
I joined Dr. Uyeyamas team in 2013, 14 years after earning my BS in Dental Hygiene. My job revolves around providing services that prevent oral diseases and maintain oral health. My patients are my number-one priority, and I do everything I can to ensure they leave our office healthier and happier than when they came in. I feel fortunate to work with a doctor and team that are so professional and fun. We all genuinely care about our patients.
I have been married to my husband Ryan for 18 years. We have a 15-year-old son Josh, and our daughter Faith is 12. Our house is complete with our two dogs! As a family, we love to travel, snow ski, and go backpacking. I also enjoy reading, working in my garden, and helping at my childrens school. Both my husband and I are involved with our church as well.

Ive been here since 1993, and have built strong relationships with our patients and families. I help them with their treatment plans, bill their dental insurance, and schedule future visits. I also make sure our practice runs smoothly, so the team can focus on delivering excellent care.
I really like getting to know our patients and learning their needs so I can make them feel relaxed and comfortable during their visits. When a person opens up and talks with me, I know theyre feeling safe and at home, and I love that. My days are spent making sure each visit is a good experience, as I work chairside with Dr. Uyeyama while he performs various procedures. I talk with the patient about whats happening, providing smiles and encouragement.
