It is with great joy that I write this letter. I would like to thank Dr. Castleman for his confidence and trust in allowing me to continue his tradition of excellent patient care. I am fully committed to ensuring that you will receive the quality and compassionate care that you have known with Dr. Castleman.
I would like to share a little about myself in order for you to get to know me better. Gun Lake, MI is where I spent my childhood; playing basketball, doing water sports, and working for my familys marine business. I went to Delton Kellogg High School and Kalamazoo Valley CC prior to attending West Virginia State University. At West Virginia State, I pursued a degree in biology, graduating summa cum laude, while also playing on the womens basketball and track teams.
Following State, I attended West Virginia University and received my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2013. Since graduation, I have been practicing within the West Michigan community as an associate dentist. I love truly getting to know patients and their families and enjoy working with all ages. I am a member of the West Michigan District Dental Society, American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association and Delta Sigma Delta Fraternity.
On a personal note, I live in Middleville, I am married to my loving husband Nate, and we have a spirited two year old daughter, Louisa. In my downtime I enjoy golfing, paddle boarding, and trying new activities with my family.

Dr. Matteson was amazing! I went in for a cleaning and the team was awesome. About a month later, I had some tooth pain. I ended up coming in on short notice and she took the wisdom tooth out that was bothering me no problem! She is so good! I would highly recommend her! Definitely worth the drive from Grand Rapids!

My daughter and I are newer patients and I have to say we are so happy. Everyone is so friendly. Makes you feel like you are at home. Even with my broken foot they went above and beyond to help. So glad we found them. Keep up the great work ladies

Dr. Matteson is personable, professional, and competent! The entire staff is the same! Actually enjoy the time there chatting with them all. Above and beyond the call of duty, Dr. Matteson recently cut short a personal day and met me at the office to replace a broken crown the day before I left for a Mexico trip. I have been a patient of Dr. Matteson's for over five years. She has always been able to get me in for an urgent visit in a timely manner if needed. She is a very good dentist that will work with the patient to ensure that their dental needs are being met and procedures are pain free. Thank you Dr. Matteson!

Dr. Matteson is a true professional! After years of neglecting dentist appointment my teeth needed serious help. Dr. Matteson quickly, accurately, and painlessly fixed my smile. I left her office with a tremendous feeling of self confidence. Not a lot of places you can go for instant confidence but Matteson family dental is sure on of them.
