He obtained his dental degree (DMD) at the Boston University School of Dental Medicine in Massachusetts in 2009, where he graduated with high honors. He then completed a three-year prosthodontic certificate program at the University of Texas School of dentistry at Houston in 2014 and earned an additional Master of Science degree.
Dr. Matta is passionate about practicing evidence-based dentistry in order to ensure positive long-term treatment outcomes for his patients. He whole-heartedly believes in a global, comprehensive approach to patient care, and he strives to deliver the best dental treatment to his patients.
Dr. Matta has held academic positions as a clinical assistant professor at Boston University School of Dental Medicine and University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine for the last four years. He has multiple publications and poster presentations and has lectured in study clubs. He also currently serves as a dentist in the United States Army Reserve Dental Corps.
Hi, my name is Korby. I was named after a model a long time ago. I moved to the area in March 2019 and started working for Dr. Matta in April 2019. I have worked in dental offices for about 30 years. I am a Registered Dental Assistant but have worked in the front part of the office most of my career. I am a mother of 4 grown children and I am a grandma to 3 young girls that I now live closer too! What I really like about Des Moines is there are so many Cubs fans!! Please come visit us!

Dr. Matta is wonderful. I needed a root canal on my upper tooth. I was told by another dentist just to have the tooth pulled. ): after finding care credit I was able to afford the root canal. I will be coming back here for my dental care.

Dr. Matta is wonderful! I've been seeing Dr. Matta for about a year for regular cleaning/checkups. My most recent visit, I told him I had some pain. He found a crack in a tooth. I needed a crown. He explained the process from beginning to end. He made it a pleasant experience. Everyone in the office is great!

Dr. Matta is courteous, very knowledgeable and truly cares about his patients oral health. Explaining all details including cost before services are preformed. Corby, the receptionist is always smiling, friendly and goes above and beyond to be sure your visit is good. Dr. Matta's dental assistant is kind, happy and makes sure you're comfortable at all times.

What a blessing to find a dental practice where the dentist can do all the procedures in house. No referrals, he has managed all my needs, extractions, root canals, fillings, and now am finishing up a implant to replace a molar. Staff is professional, and always make sure I receive quality care, including insurance filing and questions!
