Dr. Rolfson is native to Colorado and loves practicing here. He graduated from dental school at the University of Colorado School of Dentistry in 1999. He then served in the Navy Dental Corps for three years where he did a General Practice Residency at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton in California. In 2002 he returned with his family to Colorado and has been serving the Castle Pines area ever since with his team at Castle Pines Dental Care. He is married to his high school sweetheart Stephanie and has a son and three daughters. He enjoys taking advantage of all Colorado has to offer especially biking, hiking and running. He believes that with advances in dentistry no one should have to go without the smile they desire.

Very professional staff. They are always willing to discuss different options and cost arrangements. The referrals to other specialists ( for crowns, implants, root canals etc) are first class. Colleen at the front desk in always delightful and helpful.

We love going to Dr. Rolfson. We have been going since we moved to Castle Rock years ago and we bring our whole family! The staff is wonderful and the experience and expertise is priceless. Several years back, through an xray - they spotted a benign tumor in my jaw that could have caused severe nerve damage if not removed. I was so grateful for this discovery so I could have it removed. Couldn't imagine being anywhere else for all our dental needs!
Kristi began her career as a dental assistant in 1986. She went on to dental hygiene school and graduated from Phoenix College in 1994. She, her husband and children moved to Colorado in 2006. Kristi has been with Castle Pines Dental Care since 2006, and enjoys helping her patients keep their healthy smiles. Kristi enjoys playing volleyball and spending time with her family.
Colleen attended the University of Colorado Expanded Duties Dental Assisting Program (EDDA) and has been a dental assistant for 30 plus years. During that time she has assisted in pediatric and general dentistry. Colleen has worked for Castle Pines Dental Care since 2002; she was originally Dr. Rolfsons Dental Assistant and in 2014 moved into the office manager position. When not at the office Colleen enjoys spending time with her husband, 4 grown children and adorable grandbabies.
Jackie has been a Dental Assistant for 15 years, she received her Dental Assisting Certificate from San Joaquin Valley College in California. Jackie and her family moved to Colorado the summer of 2014. She joined our team in the fall of 2014 as The Patient Coordinator. Jackie loves living in Colorado and our beautiful ever changing weather. She enjoys time away from the office with her husband and daughter. She loves walking her dog, horseback riding with her daughter and yoga.
Crystal received her dental assisting certificate from Concord Academy. Crystal grew up in Colorado. She and her husband and children lived in Washington for a few years and she worked in the airline industry before becoming a dental assistant. Crystal and her family moved back to Colorado in 2012. We were happy to have Crystal join our team in 2014. During her free time she is a talented quilter and crafter.
Tracie has been a dental assistant since 1998 and attended Pickens Techincal College, Expanded Duties Dental Program in 1998 to earn her EDDA. She has worked in all aspects of the dental field and after 30 years, she still loves her work and the patients she meets. Tracie has been a valued team member at Castle Pines Dental Care since spring of 2016.

I have been a patient of Dr. Rolfson and team for approx. 15 years. Simply put, I believe they offer the best dental care available in Denver area. I think Dr. Rolfson is great, but it is whole experience and team that makes them the best. End to end, from reception to hygienist to dental tech/asst. to Dr. to billing-all is terrific. This team is friendly, highly skilled and perfectionists!

I was looking for a new dentist close to my home so I tried this office. The office personnel were very nice. They took my information and checked my insurance. They stated that everything was good and would be covered. I had a 6 month cleaning, which is always covered by my insurance everywhere else I've ever gone. I then received a bill for $260 from them. I called and explained that I would have never proceeded with the cleaning that was always free to me through my insurance. They offered essentially no help and told me to contact my insurance company and figure it out myself, or pay it. I find this to be very frustrating when I would have never gone there in the first place if it wasn't covered by my insurance.

This is a very well organized and run dental office. Great staff and great views from the dental chairs. I trust them with everything to do with my teeth. For others of those with no dental insurance this office doesn't try to up sell or make you come in more often than necessary. I've been with them for 15 years.

This is a very well organized and run dental office. Great staff and great views from the dental chairs. I trust them with everything to do with my teeth. Now that it's been over a year and half since working here, I feel I can finally write a review for Dr. Rolfson (without looking biased) and provide some valuable insights for patients trying to choose the right dentist among the multiple options in Castle Pines. First things first: make an appointment with Dr. Rolfson; you will be glad you did! He's kind, comforting and provides excellent service for each and every patient that walks through that door. I've seen him go above (and way beyond!) for patients because he genuinely cares about the patient and has a love for his work. Not only that but he provides great care at affordable pricing. Dr. Rolfson is conservative when it comes to dental care -- he'll be upfront and honest about what you need and what you DON'T need. If he's not currently your dentist, he's always great for a second opinion. He will take the time to listen to you, work with your options and let you know if you really need ten new crowns (or not!) He will also work out solutions that meet your dental and financial needs to help you get where you need to be (and out of pain if necessary!) The staff is stellar and has been with Dr. Rolfson for YEARS which tells you that he treats his employees well, too. No high turn-over here which goes to show that it's an amazing place. Do your own research before using this dentist with your dental insurance. We first asked if they accepted our insurance, and were told that they did. After performing procedures, we then received a bill for $248 and they said that they were mistaken, they only accept a certain version of our insurance, so we're responsible for the entire bill!
