An honor student, Dr. Matos attended New York University for his undergraduate and graduate studies. He then receivedhis post-doctoral certificate in Orthodontics fromBoston Universitys Goldman School of Graduate Dentistry.
Dentistry has become a family business his brother is an oral surgeon, his sister is a pediatric dentist and his wife is a periodontist. Orthodontics is something he wanted to do all his life: I remember being impressed by my orthodontist when I was a child. Even then, I liked the conservative nature of orthodontics: full-mouth reconstruction using existing materials the teeth. I think of it as healthful and green. Speaking of green, his house is outfitted with an extensive solar array, providing clean and renewable energy to his and neighboring houses.
Dr. Matos enjoys spending time with his wife, Vicky, and children: Sofia, Theodora, and John. He enjoys gardening and landscaping at his Long Island home. He has maintained his familys tradition of winemaking with his father and siblings at his parents house in New Jersey; brewing beer is another pastime. Restoring his antique car and music are also in the mix.
Dr. Moon attended Cornell University for her undergraduate studies. She then received her doctorate at New York University College of Dentistry and earned her post-doctoral certificate in orthodontics from Stony Brook University.
Dr. Moon lives in Long Island, New York, is happily married to her husband, Sung, and is the proud mother of two children, Melody and Connor. When she is not working she loves to be with her family and friends.She enjoys music, traveling, and trying to play golf.

The best orthodontist in the area! Dr. Matos is Very compassionate, friendly, down to earth and very competent in his field! Every time we come there are no long wait times, the staff is always super friendly, and the energy is warm and inviting. Dr. Matos makes us feel like more than his patients. We feel like family. I love it here and am so grateful we choose Matos Orthodontics!! A million stars!!

This office is amazing. Always very clean, always on time appointments, no unnecessary waiting. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. We travel from NY 1 hour just to go here. We are on our 3 child for this office. I would highly recommend them to anyone

(Original) Lamentablemente tengo un tratamiento en este lugar , todo el personal suele ser amable, pero una de las senoras que esta en la recepcion tiene una actitud pesima y arrogante, si le llamas por telefono y no hablas un buen ingles se frusta y no te entiende nada de nada, se molesta y su molestia hace que no tome un minuto por empatia, luego fui este dia a mi cita y lamentablemente siempre olvido la mascarilla , ya que casi en ningun lugar la exigen ya, pero ese dia fui y la olvide , con mucha pena le comento a ella que la habia olvidado, entonces ella con una actitud arrogante me empezo a llamar la atencion por regalarme una mascara de 10 centavos, a lo cual yo reconozco que es mi error, pero lo que realmente me molesto y mucho fue que la otra companera de ella le pregunta que sucedio, debido a que la vio molesta, y es ese momento que me indigno, empieza ella a comentarle lo que habia pasado enfrente de mi , y con la misma actitud de molestia, algo que para mi es anti etico , lo minimo que un cliente merece es respeto, no importa el idioma que hable o la apariencia, espero que los duenos de este lugar lean esto para le hagan coincidencia a sus empleados del respeto que el cliente merece, sigo en ese lugar con mi tratamiento ya que cuesta mas de 6 mil dolares y supongo que no me puedo buscar otro lugar sin pender lo que ya gaste, de lo contrario no volveria jamas a ese lugar a tener que soportar la mala educacion de nadie.

Matos Orthodontics is a clean and friendly environment. The staff is always willing to answer questions and give directions, are knowledgeable in their work, and do a great job every time. Dr. Matos took care of both of my girls and with his knowledge and expertise was able to help one daughter with her crowded teeth and turned teeth to the correct placement without surgery. Always advises the best information for the situation at hand. My girls are very appreciative and happy with the results of Dr. Matos' work. We thank him in every way.
