Dr. Mastorakos, or Dr. Bill as he is affectionately known to his patients and staff, prides himself in not only providing clinical excellence in orthodontic treatment but also in creating lasting relationships with his patients. The professional yet friendly atmosphere of his office makes you feel comfortable immediately.
Dr. Bill proudly followed in his father's footsteps (Dr. Leo Mastorakos) who established the practice in Kirkwood over 60 years ago. At Mastorakos Orthodontic Associates, Dr. Bill continues to build on the traditions of excellence created by his father.
Dr. Bill attended John Burroughs School and completed his undergraduate studies at Duke University in 1977. He attended graduate school at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry and completed his residency at St. Louis University, earning a Master of Science degree in Orthodontics in 1983.
Dr. Mastorakos is chairman of the Orthodontic Specialty Committee for the Missouri Dental Board. He is an associate clinical professor at St. Louis University's Graduate Department of Orthodontics and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. Dr. Bill is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists.
He gives back to the community by volunteering with Smiles Change Lives, the Gateway to Oral Health Foundation, Angels' Arms, and the Saint Louis University Center for Advanced Dental Education (CADE). When its done Dr. Bills way, you know it will be the best it can be!

I was referred to Dr Bill in August 2021 after an accident broke my jaw and therefore moved my teeth. Dr. Bill and his staff not only embraced me and was so empathetic, I received the very best care and orthodontia. Dr. Bill and his staff were the most professional group that I have ever been treated by and highly recommend Mastorakos Orthodontics to everyone.

We visited Dr. Bill and his staff on 8/11 and had a terrific experience. My kiddo was NOT thrilled about getting braces, but about 15 minutes into the appointment he was actually EXCITED about getting them. It was a really fun appointment, lots of neat pictures of my kiddo's teeth and facial structure. Everyone in the office is super personable and friendly as can be. The office is super clean and super organized. Everything was efficient, but not rushed. Really can't rave enough. Highly recommend!!

From the high-tech equipment to the amazing staff... I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Dr. Bill is not only an incredibly warm and welcoming person but he also is extremely knowledgeable and explains everything in an easy to understand way. Wouldn't go anywhere else!

Dr. Bill has vast experience and knowledge. He is the only one I would trust with my children's challenging mouth situations. He has a wonderful bedside manner and explains the process every step of the way. The entire office is friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Dr. Bill and his team are the best. I first went there in the 90's for braces at an older age and continue to wear retainers at night to this day. One finally broke, and I went in to see them and it was like I never left. Your children are in excellent hands.

AMAZING experience! Dr. Bill is fantastic. Every person in the office from check in to X-rays to plan overview & checkout is beyond amazing! Can't say enough about how the crew at Mastorakos knocks it out of the park. They make your kid feel like a superstar & I'm so confident in the plan for my kiddos teeth. Best service I've had anywhere in years!

I got my braces in it is fantastic work Dr bill is great and all the other people who work there are great too they do have a two step plan I am on step two they have the first step as top braces most of the time if you have a cross bite like I had they do braces for me about 1 and a half years the second time is much shorter.

I just got my braces off today and I am thrilled and happy beyond belief. Dr Bill and all his beautiful staff are kind, professional and practiced extreme patience with me as I asked every week "when are these coming off". I'm 57 years old but my teeth look 37!
