Dr. Alexander Masters is committed to staying current in the dental profession and providing his patients with the most up-to-date, comprehensive care dentistry has to offer. He graduated from University of Detroit School of Dentistry in 1980 and has since completed advanced dental training at The Seattle Institute for Advanced Dental Study, The Dawson Center for Advanced Dentistry, and he has been honored as a Fellow of the Misch International Implant Institute.
Dr. Masters professional affiliations include memberships in The International Congress of Oral Implantologists, The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, The Academy of General Dentistry, The American Dental Association, The Michigan Dental Association and The Macomb Dental Society.
A 1985 graduate of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, Dr. Sophia Masters partners with patients to help them improve their oral health and smile again with confidence. With a dedicated team who shares her commitment to excellence and comfort in all aspects of patient care, Dr. Masters has established trusting, long-term relationships with patients and their extended family.
Dr. Sophia Masters is committed to staying current through continuing dental education. Passionate about the art and science of dentistry and experienced in a wide range of dental procedures, she has attended advanced dental training at the Kois Center, Seattle Institute for Advanced Dental Study, and The Dawson Center for Advanced Dentistry.
Dr. Sophia Masters is a professional member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, Macomb Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
She enjoys volunteering for Donated Dental Services, Mission of Mercy, and the Macomb Dental Society. Dr. Masters has also held adjunct clinical faculty positions at both Detroit Mercy Dental and the University of Michigan School of Dentistry.
Dr. Sophia Masters is the mother of two adult children. A member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, in her free time she enjoys spending time with family & friends, tennis/skiing, cooking, and travel.
Her creativity and love for helping people sparked her initial interest in dentistry. Today, she takes great pride in providing both adults and children with an unmatched level of personalized attention and compassionate care. Dr. Masters likes to go beyond the diagnosis, to educate and help patients understand the connection between their oral health and overall wellness, no matter what stage theyre at in their total-wellness journey.
Dr. Masters is a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry. She is committed to staying current through continuing dental education and to providing charitable dental services through Michigans Mission of Mercy and Donated Dental Services.

As always a great experience at Masters Family Dentistry. Today was no exception.The staff are welcoming and professional and they take a genuine interest in their patients. I have been going to Dr. Masters for over 30 years. When I first started going there I told him I never wanted to take out my teeth and put them in a glass. I'm 85 and although I have had a lot of dental problems they are not in a glass. I love the people in this practice. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Clean office, great staff! They helped me out tremendously! I had very positive experiences regarding a root canal and implant. The staff at Masters Family Dentistry is professional, yet warm and personable. Working with Dentists that really care about their craft is very important for your well being. After years of struggling to find great dental care, I am finally there. I can't thank Dr. Masters and his staff enough times!
