Dr. Roman Fedorciw has been in private practice in Cromwell since 1991. He received his undergraduate degree from New York University where he also attended New York University College of Dentistry. Upon receiving his dental degree, hecompleted a general practice residency at Long Island College Hospital.

Dr. Fedorciw is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the American Dental Association. He is also a member of the Connecticut Dental Association and Middlesex County Dental Association.

Dr. Mehran Massoumi attended Syracuse University for his undergraduate education. After completion of his dental degree from New York University College of Dentistry, he served a two-year residency at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York.

He continued his formal education by completing a fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Massoumi holds the prestigious Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry and is a member of the American Dental Association, Connecticut Dental Association, and the Middlesex Dental Association.

Dr. Alexa Kolbig earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Connecticut. After receiving her dental degree, Dr. Kolbig completed a one year intensive general practice residency program at Danbury Hospital in Connecticut.

Dr. Kolbig recognizes the importance of developing a trusting doctor-patient relationship, and how critical that relationship is for ensuring high quality care and the most favorable outcome for the patient.

Dr. Kolbig is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Association. She enjoys spending time with her husband on the ski slopes in Vermont and wakeboarding on the lake in her spare time.

Originally from Salt Lake City, Dr. John Barrett received his bachelors degree in Biology from The University of Utah. Subsequently, he attended Boston University School of Dentistry from where he graduated with Honors. Followingdental school, Dr. Barrett was accepted University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, relocated to Farmington with his girlfriend and began his Masters degree training in the specialized field of Endodontics.

Education and Awards: Bachelor of Science degree in dental hygiene from University of Bridgeport. Certified in the Administration of Local Anesthesia. Graduated Summa cum Laude, Clinical Faculty Recognition Award, Member of Sigma Phi Alpha National Dental Honor Society, member of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi

Why I like Dentistry: Being a Dental Hygienist is what I always wanted to do! I loved going to the dentist as a child and thought it was the coolest job. In high school, I excelled in the sciences and was looking forward to applying my love of science in college. I have always been drawn to peoples smiles and thought it would be rewarding to help people feel better about themselves and to have the opportunity to help patients understand complete oral care and why it is so beneficial to their overall heath.

Why I Like Dentistry: I love improving the quality of my patients health by sharing techniques and ideas they can use to help themselves. I am very detailed oriented and that is a large part of this field.

Why I Like Dentistry: I love many things about Dentistry, one of which is getting to know our patients;learning about their families, their interests, vacations and special moments in their lives makes the relationship we have special.

My favorite part, however, is having the opportunity to take part in transforming peoples smiles. Almost everyday we encounter those who either refuse to smile or cover their mouths because they are so self conscious about their appearance.
