After many years of working outside of the area, Im so happy to return to my hometown of Glendale, where I can share my passion for what I do. I love meeting people, creating healthy smiles, and helping people feel good about themselves. Ive treated so many patients who tell me that they dont know how to smile, or always cover their mouths when they do, because they dont like how their teeth look. Its so fulfilling, after treatment, to hear those patients say that they now feel more confident, not just in their smiles, but also in themselves.
My journey to becoming an orthodontist started when my aunt, the orthodontist, determined that I was ready for braces at the age of ten. I was amazed at how my teeth were getting more aligned it was like magic! I decided that I wanted to help people in this way when I got older. To that end, I attended UCLA, where I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in psychobiology. I went on to earn my DDS degree at UCLAs School of Dentistry, where I was awarded the Deans Scholarship, and was in the top 10% of my class. My residency took me across the country to Pennsylvania for three years, where I received my certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at the University of Pittsburgh. While there, I earned my masters degree in dental science and was awarded the Deans Scholarship for Excellence in Research.
Our mission is to give our patients a wonderful experience and help them feel at ease, while creating healthy smiles. Youre not just a number, and theres no cookie-cutter treatment, at Massih Orthodontics. Dr. Massih believes that each persons case is unique. Thats because she doesnt just look at your teeth she looks at you as a person. Dr Massih is trained in Botox and fillers so she has a unique perspective of facial and profile balancing as an orthodontist. She is also a Top 1% Diamond Plus Invisalign provider and is able to treat complex cases using Invisalign. Dr. Massih personally sits down with each patient and discusses your concerns along with her findings and comes up with several treatment options for you to talk about. She gives you her honest thoughts on the types of treatment and, together, you choose which option best fits your needs.

My brother and I both went to Dr. Massih and she is nothing short of amazing. Any concern, question, or piece of advice from her is so genuine. Everything from the staff to the office feels like home and has a positive vibe. I was a good candidate for Invisalign, and it was such a smooth process from start to finish, because of the staff who answered all my worries. Something I really value is how everyone in this office gives it their all, no one cuts corners and they really want to ensure patient satisfaction and I absolutely love that. I am 40 years old and always dreamed of having straight teeth. Dr. Massih made that happen. Her and her staff are amazing and so nice. I had Invisalign and my teeth look absolutely amazing. Dr. Massih really cares about the progress your making and is very into the details, which I appreciate and believe contributes to my outstanding smile. I plan to take both of my kids to Dr. Massih when it's time for their braces. I recommended a friend to Dr. Massih and she is now in the process of her Invisalign with Dr. Massih and is also having a wonderful experience. I can't recommend Dr. Massih enough.

Dr. Massih, we sincerely thank you and your team for taking great care of our children. I asked my daughter what she appreciated most from seeing you, and she stated that you were always gentle and so nice to her which made he feel very comfortable. My son, as well, told me that you were very nice and that he felt you really cared. For me, what I appeciated the most was knowing that I didn't have to worry about anything. Dr. Massih is amazing! I am a Prosthodontist and needed the help of a meticulous orthodontist to help me with a very challenging case. Dr. Massih did an amazing job correcting the very difficult "bite," and set me up perfectly so that I could make her beautiful veneers! My patient reported that her entire experience was excellent and that Dr. Massih was very patient and caring. Great job Doc!

I went to three consults and chose Dr. Massih because she was the most attentive and engaged. So happy I did. She's super smart, cares about her work and clients, and actually spends the time to listen to them. I'm near the end of my Invisalign treatment and ahead of schedule.

Dr. Massih and her staff were all warm, professional, and courteous during all of my visits. I always knew that I was being taken care of. I had braces as a teenager and had permanent retainers on top and bottom teeth that had started to break and cause my teeth to fall out of alignment. Did an invisalign treatment to correct the alignment issues and now my smile is back to tip top shape.

It's really hard to sum up how amazing finding Dr. Massih has been. I have been suffering from pretty severe TMJ for about 8 years and when I say NOTHING has helped I really mean nothing. Every mouth guard I've had I've bitten through since I'm a clencher as opposed to a tooth grinder. My face was always in pain, my jaw would stick, my jaw click can literally be heard across the room, i developed tinnitus, and I was starting to develop really severe tension headaches. Every so called TMJ specialist never really took the time to understand my issue and would always just throw really expensive guards my way despite me informing them they never work. At my wits end, I read a review that Dr. Massih works with TMJ patients so I made an appointment. After a thorough exam she suggested I give Botox a try. I was so desperate I took the plunge! It was really incredible how well the treatment worked for me. It took about two weeks to really notice results but all of a sudden the pain was reducing, the headaches were gone, and my ear pain almost completely resolved! She saved my sanity! I just had my second treatment and will be following up until i significantly weaken my clenching muscles. I can't recommend her practice enough for any issue, cosmetic or dental, you want addressed! I'm almost tempted to start Invisalign just to stay with her practice!

When I finally decided to take small steps in building my confidence, straightening my teeth was on the top of my list. After telling my dentist that I was interested in exploring my options regarding braces/Invisalign, he handed me three fliers for three different orthodontists. My plan was to visit all three and then make my decision. My gut naturally told me to go with the cute turquoise flier, so Dr. Massih was the first orthodontist I made an appointment with...she was also the last orthodontist I made an appointment with because my consultation with her went so great. (My gut rarely steers me wrong;) ) I am certain that the other two orthodontists are great as well, but after meeting with Dr. Massih, I felt I had already found a professional, kind and caring orthodontist in her, so I felt good about ending my search. Also, I felt really good about supporting a woman-led business. During the course of my Invisalign treatment, Dr. Massih and her team truly made me feel comfortable and taken care of during each of my visits. Aside from straightening my teeth, Dr. Massih was also able to minimize my gummy smile with Botox (Yes! She is certified to administer Botox and fillers...can your orthodontist do that?! Lol) which made me so very happy because now I'm able to comfortably smile without feeling so insecure!! I said ALL of that, to say this: If you are on the market for a professional and genuinely caring orthodontist, Dr. Massih is a phone call away:) (Thank you for everything, Dr. Massih !!)

I just got my braces off today and for the past two and a half years Dr.Massih and her staff have been absolutely wonderful to me. The two years flew by so quick because they made everything so easy. Even through a pandemic Dr.Massih managed to make going to the orthodontist fun loll! Anyways, thank you Dr.Massih for my new smile i love it :)

Dr. Massih is amazing! One side of my lip was naturally uneven and she was able to even them out along with my lower lips. I had previously been to two other people to try and even out my lips but they were not able to accomplish it. I honestly love my lips now! They are perfect and are finally even. They are how I wanted them to look like all along. I love them so much that I booked another follow up appointment with her within the next 6 months. I also completed my Invisalign with Dr. Massih and now my husband is too. She is truly talented in that not only can she fix your teeth but she can help you with your lips too! We love her and her staff and we highly recommend her.

After hearing commercials about Smile Direct Club I decided to give them a try. My teeth weren't exceptionally crooked so I thought this would be a good option for me. Boy was I wrong! After 6 months I ended up with a huge open bite that I never had before. I was at a loss in what to do! My dentist suggested I get a consultation for Invisalign so after interviewing a couple of orthodontists I decided to go with Dr. Massih. In less than a year she was able to get my bite back to normal and straighten my teeth beautifully with Invisalign! I am 66 years old and finally have the smile I have wanted all my life!
