Growing up in Mendoza, Argentina, Dr. Sergio F. Paluk saw the importance of having a straight smile to support your goal of achieving optimal oral health. His father was an orthodontist and after completing his dental education at Dental School of Universidad Nacional de Cuyo in 1992, Dr. Paluk joined his fathers practice. In 1997, Dr. Paluk moved to San Diego to pursue English as a Second Language. Knowing how important it is to have healthy gums to support your beautiful teeth, Dr. Paluk earned his Master of Science degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and has been a practicing periodontist since 2003. He is both a member and a Diplomate of the International Dental Implant Association.
Dr. Amanda Echeverria always knew she wanted to be in the medical field. Coming from a family of dentists, she knew she could help people achieve a higher state of health through dentistry, so she began her dental education at the University of Costa Rica. After earning her license to practice dentistry in 1998, Dr. Echeverria practiced there for two years before moving to Houston in 2000 to pursue a specialized education in periodontics. She earned her Master of Science degree from the University of Houston in 2003.
Dr. Fatemeh Mohandes loves art, science, and the medical field, and knew a career in dentistry would be the best way for her to combine these interests into a fulfilling way to help people get and stay out of pain. After earning her dental degree, Dr. Mohandes spend an additional 4 years in school to earn her Master of Science degree. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from UPenn and has been a practicing dentist since 2011.
