Dr. Stan Maskas has been practicing dentistry for almost 30 years. He has practiced dentistry in DeRidder, LA since 1983. Dr. Maskas graduated from DeRidder High School in 1976 and attended LA Tech University in Ruston, LA from 1976 to 1979. He then moved to New Orleans, LA where he graduated from the LSU School of Dentistry in 1983.
Misty has been a member of our dental team since 2007. She does a great job coordinating Dr. Maskas' busy schedule and is dedicated to helping our patients optimize their insurance benefits. She enjoys spending time with her three beautiful children.
Kim has been a member of our dental team since graduating from Lamar University in 1991. She was certified to administer local anesthsia in 1999 and nitrous oxide in 2011. Although Kim has been in practice for many years, she consistently keeps up with the latest research and technology in the dental field. She focuses not only on local factors, but also medical issues that could affect her patient's oral health. Her main goal is to provide quality care while always keeping patient comfort in mind. Kim has been married for 22 years and enjoys quilting and playing with her two dogs.
Kristi is a licensed dental hygienist who has been a member of our dental team since 2011. She graduated from Lamar Institute of Technology in Beaumont, Tx in May 2011. Kristi is from Lake Charles and lives there with her husband, two handsome baby boys, and her two dogs.
Linda has been a part of our dental team since 1993. Her patients' needs and comfort are of the utmost importance and she is committed to meeting those needs. She is dedicated to making your every visit to our office specialized just for you. Linda is married and has 2 beautiful daughters.
Shelley has been a part of our dental team since 2007. Our patients take great comfort in her caring and attentive nature. Her dedication in making our patients feel comfortable is her highest priority. She is married and has two beautiful daughters.

We loved having Dr. Maskas and his staff in our lives for the past 3 years. My smile has never been better. I appreciate everything you did for me! Thank you, definitely the best care in this area! We will miss you all. Stay sweet!

Let's start off talking about the facility itself: super clean, organized, and overall, nicely structured. Staff: A-frickenmazing! - Shoutout to Michelle (front desk): for being so attentive, kind, and truly showing how much she cares for us, patients. I've been constantly going to Dr. Maskas for dental issues and Michelle has continuously been on top of things, reminding me of my appointments and helping me reschedule them (it was often too so I appreciate her patience.) - The hygienist: (I didn't get her name), but WOW! I absolutely loved her. We talked like if we were good friends. She was kind and so gentle when cleaning my teeth. She gave me tips and advise on how to care for my mouth. She was just an absolute joy to be around with. - All the Dental Assistants: have been kind, helpful, and always do their absolute best for their patients to leave satisfied. I love them !! They're funny and extremely attentive. - Dr. Maskas: Listen, I've been to many dentists before. I despise getting my teeth looked at, I'm actually petrified of it, but the Dr. has taken good care of me since Day 1. This isn't a doctor that's going to sugar coat things, he is straightforward and will explain everything that is going on with you. If you want lies and someone to baby you, this doctor is not for you. He keeps his staff working hard, making sure they jot down everything that they do and discuss. He's never hesitated to answer my questions/concerns, he's always honest, and advises me when needed. Since day 1, I've felt calm and relaxed and easily gained his trust.

I went to them earlier this year, when Dental Plus wouldn't call me back, until really late. I was desperate, due to having a broken tooth and was in pain. They got me in quick, and just as quickly, fixed my tooth. When they finished, I was shocked at how quick and good they were, so I told them, "Well you folks now have my business." When I told my husband, he said if I was very satisfied, he was going to switch to them as well. I highly recommend this place.

Dr. Maskas and his Team provides me with a great experience every time that I visit them. I had a tooth filling today and I barely felt any discomfort! I highly recommend Dr. Maskas if you are looking for a good dentist!

Mrs. Linda was such a blessing, I was gratful for her compassion and care through it all Thank you! The whole process from start to finish has been amazing. This is by far the best dental office and staff. From the front desk to the hygienist, they all go out of their way to make the whole visit as pleasant as possible! Highly recommend Dr. Maskas!!

Nov 24, 2020 I was uncomfortable with Dr. Maskas'. He became loud and angry when discussing my BCBS private insurance. What dentist treats patients like that? His assistants were embarrassed for him. Tork-city. He used up $100 of my insurance anyway for xrays. I would NEVER recommend him to anyone or go to any oral surgeon he referred. I'd give him a big fat zero if I could.

I highly recommend. I've gone to Dr Maskas for the past few years. Whether it be for a root canal, fillings, and routine checks, I was always shown kindness from everyone there. Ive always been weary of the dentist from previous experiences, but I truly felt comfortable every time.

Honestly I've been to several dentist around the area to include Leesville and Alexandria. Dr Maskas and his staff were incredibly friendly and helpful with all my questions. Honestly some of the negative reviews directly conflict with the experience I and several other people have had. He is probably the most thorough and friendly dentist I've had the pleasure of meeting in a very long time. Thank you Dr Maskas and your staff!!!!

Stanley Maskas should not be a dentist. He's absolutely worthless. Apparently he doesn't know how to pull a tooth because my wife has an infected tooth and he says he doesn't trust himself to pull it. Apparently you don't have to go to school to be a dentist in this state. Would NOT recommend anybody go here unless you just want to waste your time. If I could give 0 stars I would. If you don't trust yourself to preform basic dentistry, why the hell are you claiming to be a dentist. Absolute garbage.

Dr.Maskas did an amazing job on one of my fillings. He was quick also and his assistants were very professional and friendly. You will not feel uncomfortable they make you feel welcome.

I highly recommend this practice to all. I had my first appointment with them today, and from the reception to the Dentist all staff treat you with respect and dignity. If you are nervous about cleaning and needles, ask for Kimberly, she was very gentle and did a thorough job! It is not easy to find a good dentist, and it is getting even harder to find good customer service nowadays, but at Dr. Maskas office you find them both.
