Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

I was told I needed some kind of deep cleaning that my insurance wasn't going to cover, when I declined and requested the normal cleaning that my insurance does cover, they refused to do it and told me my only option was the deep cleaning which I would have had to pay for out of pocket. I will be going to a new dentist that isn't isn't trying to squeeze money out of patients.

My girlfriend went to Maryville modern dentistry and was charged almost $800 out of pocket on top of charging our insurance $1,500. For a cap. And then they tried to charge her $1,000 for a cleaning when our insurance covers a free cleaning once a year. They also told her that she had periodontist it was in moderate stages of this gum disease. We went to Aspen dental today and was told that she does not have periodontist and that they are going to clean her teeth for free because that's what our insurance pays for. We will never return to Maryville modern dentistry and will never give a good review on this place. It is a scam a rip off. They charge you money that is unnecessary and they make up things to get more money from you. I would never recommend this dentist office to anyone

Took me over 3 hours to get a temporary crown put on. The person scanning and forming my temporary crown took entirely too long and had to redo things multiple times. Not happy that I was given someone with out the proper experience in the job. The dentist just walked out after drilling and just left me there with nobody checking up on my person to see why things were taking so long.

Very fond of Dr. Baskin! Great technical skill, and also great connecting on a personal level with patients. Relieved all of my anxiety about my procedure. I will continue to use this practice as long as Dr. Baskin is on staff, and highly recommend him to anyone.

We just moved to Maryville and got this dentist from a list from our insurance. This dentistry was not very welcoming to us as new patinets. My daughter was scheduled for a filling today and when she arrived she was only given a cleaning despite us scheduling her filling to be done today and paying for the service ahead of time. I called to ask if I could speak to the office manager and was told she was gone for the enitre week. This honestly feels like a generic dentist that will overcharge you for services with very cold staff. Especially the ladies working up front. We will not be returning.

This is the most professional. kind dentist office I have ever been to..I would highly recommend them if you are needing a dentist.Office is very clean. Everyone seems so genuine and caring..My Dentist Dr Baskins was very patient and understanding..Fantastic people working in this office

Best dental office ever! The hygienists Theresa & Miranda are both very thorough and gentle. The front office ladies Christina and Ashley are always friendly and welcoming. Both Dr. Bates & Dr. Baskin spend extra time explaining all of my questions and do great dental work! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone needing a dental office. I have already referred my family & friends.

Dr bates does very great work. His staff is friendly and he's very nice person. They are helpful and get you in as soon as they can. From the time I walked into the office the staff were friendly.

So glad I stumbled upon this establishment! I was seeing another dentist in Knoxville prior to coming to modern dentisty, but at my own fault I ended up missing my apt with them and could not be seen again until sometimein june. I called around to a couple different dentists and literally NOBODY had anything available! I then called modern dentistry, the lady I spoke with helped answer any and all questions I had (bless her heart). I was also able to get an apt for that same day, so everything worked out great. When I arrived I was taken back fairly quickly. I seen Dr. Baskin (dentist) , Sonia (assistant) and Theresa (hygienist) everyone was really laid back and professional, but also didn't mind cutting up with Me :) I'm really glad I missed my last apt and found this place! I'll definitely be back and have already referred a couple people.

Worst dental office every been in and the person they call office Manager Ashley needs to be fired. It's taken me over 3 weeks to get my Mother's $600 back and today Ashley leaves message saying they ran my mother's credit card to credit her back but it could take 2 to 3 weeks before she sees credit. I know for a fact it doesn't take that long to see credit back if they really ran card to put amount back on card
