I highly recommend Maryland Oral Associates for wisdom teeth extraction. I recently had all four of my wisdom teeth removed at the Bethesda MOSA practice and received great pre-op and post-operative care. At my initial consultation, they provided me with detailed information about the procedure, a quote for the cost, and scheduled me in in a timely fashion. All of the staff were very polite and informative and made me feel at ease on the day of the procedure.

Going to the dentist can be a scary experience. Unfortunately this facility cares more about money then their patients. There is not transparency on the pricing until you get the bill. As a person without insurance and paying out of pocket I would have expected more compassion and understanding.

I had my wisdom teeth extracted last week. The experience I had is absolutely amazing. The doctor and the nurses were extremely professional, helpful and kind. My recovery was painless and the post surgery instructions that they provided were easy to follow and very helpful. The office called me in a few hours after my surgery, checked on me to make sure I am okay and gave me a phone # that I can call and reach out someone after the business hours, if needed. Overall, amazing experience and I am so thankful!!

Communication with patients should feel genuine. From my consultation to the day of surgery it all felt routine and robotic. I definitely didn't feel like we were receiving personal individual care. At the consultation visit we waited over an hour in the patient room to be seen. I understand doctors are busy, but an hour?!? Again, even during this visit it felt rushed (after we waited an hour) and non-genuine. I almost found a new surgeon when we left and looking back, I wish we did. No one ever called, discussed, or emailed/mailed a written benefit coverage estimate. I arrived at the appointment and received a bill. Sure, I could have called, but I've had so much dental work this year we assumed it was covered. ALL other physicians call me or provide me with a written estimate of services. After the surgery, my daughter tells me she woke up half way through! How did this happen?? Who was supposed to be monitoring that? No one informed me or said anything!!! My child told me. I'm not sure how this place operates and I'm extremely disappointed.

Had a molar removed. Office staff was very friendly. Easy to make appointments and give/get pertinent information Dr. Iyer was excellent. Very gentle and efficient. Easy to communicate with. Appointments were all taken care of in a timely manner Dental assistant, Heather was fast, efficient and helpful. I would use this office and oral surgeon again and recommend them.
