Dr. Kourosh Mehrabian graduated from the University of Maryland in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science Degree. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Howard University in 1996. During college, he made the Deans List, Honors List and earned inclusion in Outstanding Students of America.
After earning his doctoral degree he pursued a one year post-doctoral residency program of GPR at DC General Hospital department of Oral Surgery and General Dentistry. In this program he acquired extensive experience in most aspects of Oral Surgery. Following, his GPR he was on staff with a large practice in the state of Virginia. While there he was the sole practitioner of endodontic (root canal therapy) treatment. He has gone on to attend courses in dental implants, sedation, and electrocardiography.
From 1999-2010 Dr. Mehrabian provided volunteer dental services at the Spanish Catholic Center in Washington, D.C. He treated under-servedand financially challenged families. His services include any aspect of required dental treatment while pursuing a high interest in dental implants. From 2004-2006 Dr. Mehrabian had continuing education for dental implantsatThe Science of Implant in Washington D.C.
In 2011 Dr. Mehrabian completed the vigorous training course ofConscious Patient Management with IV and Nitrous Sedation in General Dentistryat the Montefiore Medical Center, part of the University Hospital for Albert Einstein College of Medicinein New York, NY. He is one of the few dentists in the DC Metro area who holds a Class II permit foranesthesiaand sedation, and he is also board certified.
Dr. Mehrabianis one of a limited number of dentists licensed to practice in Maryland, Virginia, the District of Columbia, and California while accruing more than 800 hours of continuing education. His ongoing studies are to insure that he stays current with the continual advances in the dental field. The total number of hours of his continuing education is almost eight times the state requirement.

My appointment was at 9am I got there at 8:45 parked on the street it was only an 1 hour park I waited for an hour to be seen. Scared I would get towed I moved my car then I was told we're to park.SMH. I wasn't seen or worked on until 10am and was told about 30 minutes to remove the tooth. I was told 1 price on the phone then I was charged $200 over. The dentist made rude comments while working on removing my tooth. THEN GAD THE NERVE TO CALL AND CANCEL MY NEXT APPOINTMENT.No problem I was not coming back.

No go! Called for emergency service on 8/19/22. Talked to young lady about insurance. One of the doctors were in network. She said she would call me back. Which she did. I was told they would honor fee schedule based on insurance. I asked her again. Are you sure. She said yes. "I just spoke with the doctor." So I booked emergency appointment for 8/20/22. Paid a 75.00 emergency fee on 8/19/22. To secure my appointment for 8/20/22. When I got there on 8/20. There was a completey different story. I would have to pay the full amount. For out of network services rendered. Not based on the in network fee schedule that they said they would honor the day before. I would have found another Dentist, but I believed what they said. They prayed upon me because I was in pain. So i decided to wait. Not paying out of pocket when I have insurance. Asked for a Doctors note for today. Because I took off of work for this appointment based on information given to me. The doctor put on the note. I came by the office. As if I didn't clearly have an appointment for services that they lied about. They did refund the 75.00 dollars. I saw the other reviews about how they were shoddy. I chose to ignore. Even if your dental work is good. Deception on any level is a for me. I told them this review was coming.
