Dr. Kourosh Mehrabian graduated from the University of Maryland in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science Degree. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Howard University in 1996. During college, he made the Deans List, Honors List and earned inclusion in Outstanding Students of America.
After earning his doctoral degree he pursued a one year post-doctoral residency program of GPR at DC General Hospital department of Oral Surgery and General Dentistry. In this program he acquired extensive experience in most aspects of Oral Surgery. Following, his GPR he was on staff with a large practice in the state of Virginia. While there he was the sole practitioner of endodontic (root canal therapy) treatment. He has gone on to attend courses in dental implants, sedation, and electrocardiography.
From 1999-2010 Dr. Mehrabian provided volunteer dental services at the Spanish Catholic Center in Washington, D.C. He treated under-servedand financially challenged families. His services include any aspect of required dental treatment while pursuing a high interest in dental implants. From 2004-2006 Dr. Mehrabian had continuing education for dental implantsatThe Science of Implant in Washington D.C.
In 2011 Dr. Mehrabian completed the vigorous training course ofConscious Patient Management with IV and Nitrous Sedation in General Dentistryat the Montefiore Medical Center, part of the University Hospital for Albert Einstein College of Medicinein New York, NY. He is one of the few dentists in the DC Metro area who holds a Class II permit foranesthesiaand sedation, and he is also board certified.
Dr. Mehrabianis one of a limited number of dentists licensed to practice in Maryland, Virginia, the District of Columbia, and California while accruing more than 800 hours of continuing education. His ongoing studies are to insure that he stays current with the continual advances in the dental field. The total number of hours of his continuing education is almost eight times the state requirement.

This man did an extremely good job , I just had oral surgery and he made my experience great. All the staff was great and they are very friendly do not listen to the bad reviews! He is a wonderful doctor def would recommend him!

My mother is visiting from overseas and had a dental emergency with no insurance, thats when I found Dr Mehrabian . What a great experience. From the front desk staff to the dental assistant and the doctor it self, the attention was amazing. The knowledge and kindness of doctor Mehrabian is one of a kind. 100% recommended

When I tell you this was one of the best experiences I had with dental care I mean it ! I have bad anxiety and the bedside manner was spot on. I have more work to get done and this will be where I go for here on out. Thank you so much !!

Would not recommend. I made two different appointments when I got here both times the place was closed. They don't even deserve half star.

Visited the office 2 weeks after an appointment with another dentist who provided pain meds and antibiotics and could not figure out what was wrong. Saw the doctor who spent quality time doing the exam. Although it was something that was out of her hands I was provided with a referral and assurance that if I needed anything so something else happens I'm more than welcome back. I will definitely be going back for regular dental visits. Staff was very pleasant. I didn't not have insurance and price was very reasonable.

Appointment at 10:30 am came in at 10:24 am and it's 12:39 pm and I'm still waiting if there was something lower than one star that's what I would use to rate this thing

The Dentist was very kind, and explained everything in detail. It was my first visit in this clinic and I am very satisfied. The staff was very helpful even though I had an emergency root canal done. Thank you!
