Dr. Becher graduated from St. Marys University with a degree in Biology. Graduating in the top ten percent of her class, she obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1997. During her tenure at Baylor she received several distinctive honors including:
Post-Baylor, she chose to attend the University of Connecticut Health Science Center to pursue a certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry, which she was awarded in 1998. Staying on the East Coast to be close to family, she completed a 3 year orthodontic residency in New York at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine, achieving her Certificate in Orthodontics in 2001.
Dr. Gil was born and raised in San Antonio. She completed her undergraduate degree in Biology at Schreiner University in Kerrville, TX. Dr. Gil graduated from the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston in 2013 with her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. She was awarded membership into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Dental Society for outstanding academic and clinical achievement in her class. She then went on to complete a 30-month orthodontic residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center in Oklahoma City. Dont hold that against hershe got back to Texas as soon as she could!
Dr. Gil is getting married this August. She and her fianc Andy have a goldendoodle named Barley who loves to tag along when they go explore the city. When she is not in the office Dr. Gil enjoys her OrangeTheory classes, rooting for the San Francisco 49ers and singing along to Taylor Swift.
Jason has been in the dental industry since 2011. He was born in San Antonio and proudly raised in Smithville, TX. Hes our clinical coordinator and youll see him running around over-seeing everything in the clinic. He loves his job and finds it especially rewarding to help people feel more confident about their smiles. When Jasons not busy trying to corral this office full of women, youll find him at home watching sports and playing with his dog Maxx.
Sabrina is the newest member of our team and loves the challenge of being an orthodontic assistant brings! She enjoys talking with our patients while getting to know them. When shes not working, youll find her playing lacrosse and participating in outdoor activities. She has a large family who finds it important to spend time together and make it a point to have meals together several times a week. Gig em Aggies!
Bonnie started working as a part-time employee through the Vocational Office Education Program in high school and has been with Dr. Becher since the beginning! Youll see Bonnie first thing when you come into our office. Shes our front desk coordinator and she works very hard to maintain our schedule and make sure everything runs smoothly. Bonnie is a native Austinite. Away from the office, she and her husband Dennis enjoy spending time outside with their rat terrier Daisy, gardening and shopping at garage sales.
Gigi is one of our orthodontic assistants and has been in the dental field since 1990. She loves working with Dr. Becher to help our patients gain even more beautiful smiles. Tina was born in Victoria, TX. She and her husband Blake have two grown children, three grandchildren and a crazy dog named Dot. When Tinas not at work, you can find her in a deer blind, out on the lake fishing or spending time with her family. She loves country music and would love to visit Africa or Alaska.
Lisa is one of our treatment coordinators and has been with Dr. Becher since 2014. Shes one of the first faces our new patients will see when they come to our office. She loves chatting with patients and getting to know them and their families. In her free time, she can be found toting her two kids to sports and watching them compete. Shes an avid crafter and spends a lot of time working on her latest creation. She spends as much of her free time as possible out on the bay in Aransas Pass fishing with her kids and husband.
Lindas smiling face is one of the first ones you see when you walk in our office door. When Linda isnt helping out with public relations and contests, she is busy running our front desk. She has been with our practice since 2003 and loves being in orthodontics because she gets to see all of the beautiful new smiles. Linda has three very talented daughters, one of whom created most of the fabulous artwork in our office, and two grandchildren. When she is not at the office, she can be found with her husband Russell at their river home, sewing, cooking or refinishing furniture. One of these days she would like to take a Viking River Cruise in Europe.
Melody is one of our treatment coordinators and has been with Dr. Becher since 2014. Youll find her in her office making sure our new patients feel comfortable or in the clinic working on patients (and, if youre lucky, youll get to hear her singing while she works!) She was born in Jamaica and loves to be near the water! Melody and her husband Michael have two children. When she is away from the office, youll find her dancing whether anyone is watching or not! Shes also very passionate about shopping and would like to one day travel to Europe.
Brittaney started her orthodontic career in 2016. She loves working as an orthodontic assistant because she has the opportunity to get to know our amazing patients while helping them achieve the smiles they deserve! Brittaney has worked hard to master our iTero scanner and can quickly scan your teeth when needed. Shes an excellent assistant and thoroughly loves working on patients. She was proudly born and raised in South Austin and has two children. Brittaney loves to travel with her kids and especially loves long walks on the beach in Florida. One day, she hopes to travel to the Netherlands.
Nallely is one of our orthodontic assistants and has been in the field since 2014. When shes not using her expert knowledge to work on patients, youll find her making sure our team has all of the supplies they need to continue creating amazing smiles! Nallely was born in Bakersfield, CA, but grew up in Port Lavaca, TX. She and her husband Mario have a cat named Tito who keeps them thoroughly entertained. When shes not at work, she spends her time traveling to see family and watching true crime documentaries.
Tracy is our Office Manager and pretty much takes care of anything and everything! Growing up in Leakey, Texas (population 393), she often roller-skated downtown and charged items at the drug store. When she isnt working in our office, she can be found with her husband John at various live music venues around Austin, doing home improvement projects, or hanging out with her family. Her greatest joy has been watching her son Foster grow up! One day she would like to see the tulips in Holland, the castles in Prague and take a train through Siberia.

Where to even begin! I came to Dr. Becher/Dr. Gil as an adult patient looking for Invisalign before my wedding. Dr. Becher listened to my concerns and thoroughly went over my options with me during my first appointment. Every appointment since then has been top-notch! The staff is super friendly, helpful, extremely hygienic, and maintains a thorough understanding of my treatment timeline and progress from appointment to appointment. If I ever have a question, I can easily get in touch with the staff through the DentalMonitoring app - this app is amazing! I would recommend Dr. Becher/Dr. Gil and their staff to any adult considering Invisalign - you will not be disappointed!!

Over the fourth of July weekend one of the wires broke in my permanent retainer. Unfortunately, the on call doc (from another office) didn't answer my calls. I texted Dr. Gil. Even though she was off and away with family, she drove into Austin and took care of the broken wire. Melody came in as well to assist Dr. Gil. I have truly been impressed by the degree of professionalism shown in Becher Orthodontics and would highly recommend both Dr. Becher and Dr. Gil and their staff. Thank you for taking care of my new smile and dental issues.

If you need orthodontic work this is where you want to have it done! I had double jaw surgery for an underbite/cross bite and Dr. Becher did all my ortho work beforehand and my oral surgeon said everything was set up perfectly leading to a smooth surgery. He said Dr. Becher is one of his favorite orthodontist to work with because she is so good at what she does. I am so happy with my smile! On top of that, you always receive a warm welcome, clear communication, and they treat their patients like family.

Friendly staff. Due to TMJ structural issues, Dr. Becher didn't feel comfortable starting treatment without me seeing an outside doctor first. Which is great! Any other dentist or orthodontist would have tried to sell me on a treatment plan, regardless of if it was right. She honestly cares about the right approach, even if it isn't hers. Once I am done following up with another provider I will definitely be back.

My first time having braces. Let me tell you I need them! Serious crowding in my teeth. With some cosmetic defects and a broken took. So far I have had some complications with a bracket failure and bumper falling out while brushing. Each time JASON has come to the rescue and corrected my issues without hesitation. This will be a long road to travel. It wont be the most comfortable. I'll have many other complications until I see my end result that I desire. I am going for Hollywood smile. But I'm happy knowing I will be in good hands. Thank you Dr Becher and staff for helping me go down the road less traveled at 35. Thank you Jason for making it more comfortable and stress free.

My 8 yr old came in for an evaluation for dental work. He was a little nervous and didn't know what to expect. Dr Becher and her staff carefully communicated the process and answered all of my son's questions. He became comfortable very quickly. We had a great 1st visit!

Brooklynn had a tooth coming in horizontally under the gum. With Dr. Becker's expertise it is now vertical and in line with all the other teeth. A difficult case. We love her and her staff.

Amazing all the way around! Been coming for years with both children and the professionalism, expertise and kindness of every individual there is incredible! Dr. Becher is not only extraordinary at her profession, she has managed to create an atmosphere that is wonderful for clients and staff as well!!
