My FocusI am particularly focused on pain management and sports or orthopedic injuries. I believe that exercise therapy is an important part of the healing and rehabilitation processes. I also believe that a regular exercise program is an important part of a healthy lifestyle and I work with patients to become more physically fit. I believe that preventative care and wellness is an important aspect of providing patient care, and thereforeI also provide nutrition counseling. I believe that nutrition plays a role in many conditions and I develop nutritional plans to help aid in treatment, or for guided weight loss.
Other SpecialtiesI am also a certified Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist and NADA (National Acupuncture Detox Association) practitioner, and work with patients with addiction problems. The NADA protocol is an effective tool to use for patients in recovery from drugs or alcohol, and can also be used to help patients with food addictions or those who are trying to quit smoking. In addition, I offer supportive treatments to patients with cancer to help ease nausea, decrease stress, and ease fatigue, as well as help manage other symptoms associated with cancer treatment.
