Dr. Cloin and his wife, Sharon, met while attending college in Oklahoma. They settled in the Dallas, Fort Worth area while he attended Baylor Dental School. After a few years in Arlington they welcomed their daughter, Leslie, and later their son, Bryan. They enjoyed raising their family in the Arlington-Mansfield area and have been involved with the church, little leagues and then high school sports, amongst other activities. With their children now grown, travel, fishing, and golfing are favorite hobbies of this highly respected general dentist. Dr. Cloin and his wife have recently celebrated becoming grandparents to Kaden and Capri, and enjoy every minute spent with them.
The month of October will always have a special meaning for Dr. Cloin because it marks the anniversary of his wife being breast cancer-free since 2008. They both understand the urgency of early detection and encourage all women to participate in annual screening and examinations. They would like to thank you all for your prayers and support.
A member of the National Honor Society, Mary began her career as an Insurance Claims Processor for Blue-Cross/Blue Shield in 1969. She moved quickly through the ranks, becoming supervisor and then office manager. It was in 1980 that Mary moved to Arlington Texas, after which she took a position with Aetna. She joined the staff of Marty Cloin, DDS in 1993. Married 52 years, Mary has one daughter and three grandchildren in Midlothian, Texas. A confirmed 'Sun-Bunny,' she loves to travel and enjoys being close to water, whether its lying by the pool or walking on the beach with her family.
Amanda 's extensive customer service skills as a retail manager for seven years coupled with her Top-Of-The-Class graduation from T.C.C. 's Registered Dental Assistant program make Amanda the perfect addition to our front office staff. Enthusiastic and knowledgeable, Amanda loves the interaction with patients; helping them feel better and more confident about their smile. Residents of Arlington, TX, Amanda and her husband of 10 years have one daughter. An avid reader...her favorite book is 'The Hiding Place,' by Corrie Ten Boom. She spends her free time enjoying live music or watching hockey with her family.
Kristen graduated from Haltom High in 1997 and from the Dental Assistant program at TCJC in 2000. In dentistry for over twenty years, Kristen joined Marty Cloin, DDS as a registered dental assistant in 2007. She is also certified in radiology and CPR. Kristen has two beautiful children and enjoys camping, cooking, and spending time with her kids, especially when she can do all three at the same time!
Jenni graduated from Del Mar College in Corpus Christi in 1987. A Louisiana native, Jenni moved to Arlington, Texas and joined the staff of Marty Cloin, DDS in February 1988. She has spent the last 33 years serving patients and helping them understand the importance of great oral hygiene, recently adding diode laser certification to her credentials. Jennifer is a recipient of the Hu-Friedy Golden Scaler Award, was recognized for furthering patient education and became an Oral Health Advisor for Colgate in 2010. A mother of two, Jenny is an avid supporter of MADD and Toys for Tots. When shes not helping to keep a patients smile gorgeous, she loves spending time with her three grandsons.
A native Texan, Dena graduated in the top ten percent of her class at Mansfield High School in 1976. She spent two years as a dental assistant before graduating Cum Laude from Texas Womens University in 1983. A Registered dental hygienist for an incredible 38 years, Dena joined the team at Dr. Cloins in July, 1994. Dena is additionally certified in the use of diode lasers to assist in improving her patients oral health and combating periodontal disease. Dena has been married for 17 years and has three daughters and one beautiful granddaughter. She is an avid reader, loves spending time with her family, and watching sports.
