For me, orthodontics is ingenuity, where art and science converge. Its innovative, so it allows me to grow professionally through constant learning. Helping people gain self-confidence by giving them a beautiful new smile is very rewarding.
Dr. Jesus Martinez attended the University of Puerto Rico School of Dental Medicine where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree (DMD). He has been practicing dentistry for over 29 years including four years as a Naval Dental Officer for the US Navy, serving military families first in Bethesda, MD, then later in Okinawa, Japan.
Dr. Jesus Martinez obtained his postdoctoral degree in Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in New York City. Immediately after graduating, Dr. Martinez dedicated one year to the Craniofacial Team at the same prestigious institution where he also completed a Fellowship in Clinical Orthodontics. Dr. Martinez is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Southern Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, and Hispanic Dental Association.
Dr. Martinez has had a passion for orthodontics since age 13, and today he loves working with children and adults and helping them enjoy a better smile. Dr. Martinez is licensed to practice dentistry in Puerto Rico, New York, New Jersey, and Florida. Since the year 2000, Dr. Martinez has practiced in our beautiful city of Miami where his professionalism is portrayed in every beautiful, healthy smile he has created.

Dr. Martinez is the best Orthodontist. Your kids will love him and so will you. He is personable, know his patients and parents by their names. Takes his time to explain the process. His assistant Mayra is very nice too. We have been taking our son there for almost two years and can still say we have received the same amazing service from day one till now. The office is modern and clean. I recommend them 100%.

I absolutely love this place! They are very professional caring people that take time to talk to the patients to explain the process carefully, to ask about your concerns and questions. The doctor is super professional and kind and shows empathy at all times. I totally recommend this place!!!

I definitely recommend Dr. Martinez to anyone around or in town, I had the best experience EVER! He is very professional, knowledgeable, and understands his clients needs, I wish I could give him 6 stars instead of 5.. I love my new retainers :) Thanks again Dr. Martinez

Dr. Martinez is a godsend. My first two children went to another local factory type orthodontics establishment where they had a revolving door policy - one orthodontist serving their entire clientele. My first two children must have gone through about four different orthodontists while we were there. There was no personal relationship with patients and very poor customer service especially when there was an emergency as is the case often with braces. I decided I was not going to go the same route with my third child. I looked around and I came across Dr. Martinez's practice. His practice is the polar opposite of the other establishment. His office was clean, he was patient and connected with my son - something not so easily done. That personal connection is rare nowadays. He was available for any emergencies and very accommodating. In short, Dr. Martinez is an example of what every doctor should be.
