The entire staff is committed to providing quality care for our patients as ifthey were our own. Our team approach includes the patient, their parents, and our staff. We personally value and encourage dental education, disease prevention, and dietary recommendations for dental and overall health. To support thisphilosophy, we believe in giving back to the community and thoroughly enjoy participating in 'Reading Mania Days', health fairs, and science expos at local schools. We want children to become as excited as we are about dentistry and dental health.
Dr. Martinez is a native Texan, born in San Antonio. Shereceived her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 1993 andcontinued her postgraduate training and received a Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 1995. Dr. Martinez is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She resides in San Marcos and has two children. In her spare time, Dr. Martinez and her husband enjoy spending time with their family, especially fishing!
Dr. Martinez feels very blessed to have such a dedicated and nurturing staff that has been part of the practice family for years. Together they are committed to the values of the practice and the care of each and every family.

Dr. Martinez is by far the best pediatric dentist we have ever had. She is professional, but also very personable. She connects well with my children and they trust her (even my son who hates having any dental procedure done). My daughter actually says she wants to be a dentist now. Her entire staff is also fantastic. I'm very grateful that we have them to care for our kiddos.

I have taken all of my boys, 4 of them to Dr. Martinez's office since they were able to see a dentist. . Every time we have been there everyone has been very nice and accommodating, even if we were running late. Her explanation of procedures made me feel very comfortable. My boys aren't little boys anymore but if she would see them or myself, we would go back in an instant.

Dr Martinez and her staff are great! Always kind and accommodating. I switched from another dentist, I have been bringing my kids here for 7 years and have always had good experiences. The office is always clean and comfortable and smells nice.

I've taken my son to this dentist for many years. I do not know what these other reviews are about but I do find them hard to believe. In my experiences, Dr. Martinez and her staff have always been kind, welcoming, and accommodating.

I'd never thought I'd have to ever make this kind of review. I thought San Marcos was a disability friendly place but I guess NOT. Find another dentist! Recently saw how bad this place can be on camera. LEARN THE LAWS.

It really is shame, despite the already countless 1 star reviews, I still tried, but the customer service certainly can destroy the whole experience. Would recommend some monthly training or seek new team members that know how to speak to people.

Went to this dentist with my guide dog, I was met with nothing but condescension and made up excuses as to why I couldn't be treated. They even asked me if my dog showered with me! I captured the entire thing on video too. Keep in mind, my guide dog is a FULLY TRAINED, seeing eye dog & medical alert dog for a VERY serious fainting condition. Do NOT bring your child here if you want to be belittled and turned away for using a disability aid.
