Dr. Jim R. Martinez is a talented, cosmetic, and general dentist who was born and raised right here in the San Joaquin Valley. Dr. Martinez attended California State University-Fresno for his undergraduate Bachelorof Science Degree. He then went on to The University of California-San Francisco and earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 1999, where he graduated at the top of his class.
'I want to provide my patients with the absolute best in dentistry, which is why I always continue my education. I am excited that I can incorporate not only dentistry, but also other innovative treatments to improve my patient 's overall wellness.'
My wife, Carmen and I have been married for 20 wonderful years. Carmen also happens to be my high school sweetheart. We have two beautiful children, Paige and Cole. Most of our time outside the office is either spent with Paige on the softball field or Cole on the baseball field. When we are not doing baseball and softball,I enjoy restoring and showing my classic cars.

I have been coming to Dr.Martinez for the past 5 years. I finally decided to get Invisalign. Even after a few months, I can already see a dramatic difference. I am very happy with my choices.

He's a dentist that you can open up to about all your relevant concerns and he'll help take you in the direction you need with those in mind with Impeccable bed manner. He's everything you would want in a dentist.

I referred my daughter to him for some issues she had. He replaced a cap on her front tooth and ground down the other front tooth that had nothing wrong with it. He charged her over a thousand dollars since she had no insurance. Within six months the work he did came off and not only caused her extreme pain but more money to have it fixed. The other dentist said Dr. Martinez didn't use the correct procedure. Dr. Martinez not only didn't offer to reduce her bill, but sent it to collections. My poor daughter had to pay twice for the same thing and endure unnecessary pain. The thing that really did it for me is he never even apologized. I know his staff told him because I had talked to them about it. Not acceptable in my book. I found a new dentist. I really loved his hygienist so I miss her but morally couldn't continue to see someone who treats people like that.
