What I enjoy most about practicing dentistry is being able to create long-lasting relationships with people I would not have the opportunity to meet otherwise. I love being able to turn a dreaded dental visit into an enjoyable experience. I also like practicing in a state-of-the-art office so I can offer my patients the best technology that dentistry has to offer. When you leave the office, my team and I want you thinking, Wow! That was not a typical dental office, and we will stop at nothing to deliver that experience.
Dr. Skrapits graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry in 1997 and completed a General Practice Residency at Morristown Memorial Hospital in 1998. After practicing in Randolph, NJ, for several years, he purchased a practice in Hackettstown. He has extensive training and experience in endodontics (root canals) and(crowns, implants, bridges and veneers) and treats patients of all ages, from young children to seniors. Dr. Skrapits is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the Morris Seminars Study Group. He receives much of his continuing education through Dentaltown meetings and is a certified CEREC user. He has also traveled to Ecuador, Peru, and Madagascar with Healing the Children to provide dental care to the children of those countries and is volunteer dental screener for the Special Olympics.
Pam has been a member of our dental team since 2003. Her background includes over 30 years of dental experience spent mainly as an assistant before moving to front desk and her current position as office manager. In her spare time Pam enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, reading, practicing yoga, and watching the NY Mets playbaseball.
Kim has been a member of our dental team since 2003. Her background includes over20 years of dental experience including orthodontics and periodontics. When she is not working Kim enjoys hiking, gardening, beekeeping with her husband,and spending time with her family.
Mary has been a member of our staff since 2003. A dental hygienist since 1994, she is an integral part of our dental team. Mary strives to educate her patients based on their individual dentalneeds. When she is not cleaning teeth and educating patients, Mary enjoys traveling, shopping, and spending time with her family and two dogs.
Merya is the newest member of our dental team, joining our office in 2014. Merya earned an Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from Northhampton Community College in 2001. She takes pride in getting to know her patients individually in order to provide them the highest quality dental care. In her free time, Merya enjoys traveling, hiking, snowboarding, and working out.

Dr. Skrapits handled my dental issue with care and kindness. His office staff is happy and helpful. My hygienist is efficient, friendly and simply amazing. I highly recommend this practice

Amazing dentist! A filling I got at another dentist fell out and he got me in the next morning to fix it! He even called me on his day off when I left a message with the answering service. And he was around the same price as the other guy. Always in a wonderful mood with a wonderful staff. Cleanings are easy. 100% my dentist for life

Dr. Skrapits is wonderful. He took so much time to make sure I was comfortable with the treatment before doing exemplary work in my mouth. Kim is the best assistant ever and she was so patient with me. Pam and Linda are the best and got me in right away when I was in pain. Highly recommended !!!

I have been seeing Dr. Skrapits for many years and by far he is the best dentist I've ever experienced. His entire staff make you feel so welcome and so at ease. They're all extremely professional, pleasant and very knowledgeable. I hope that he never retires!

The dentist is very friendly and so is the staff. Overall my experience was fine except I think so got taken advantage of with the enormous bill I got for a root canal on one tooth. I think the staff knew that my insurance was out of network and didn't let me know because they wanted me to be overcharged so they could reap the benefits. So now I know I'm out of network I won't be returning to get overcharged.

Getting a root canal is not a pleasant experience.... Unless Dr. Skrapits is your dentist. Dr. Skrapits and his entire team create a comfortable environment and ensure that nothing is missed. They all a team of professionals that I would (And do) recommend to everyone.

In response to the review written by "John Fisch": I am sorry you had a negative experience at my office. Yes, we do have a very relaxed atmosphere at the office and we do joke around quite a bit. Most patients are pleasantly surprised by the laughter they hear when they walk into our office. I think it is an accurate reflection of my personality as well as the personalities of all of my team members. When it comes to dentistry and patient care, however, we are very serious about providing the best there is to offer. I am sorry my office wasn't the right fit for you and your mother.
