During my undergraduate years, I was fortunate to work as an assistant at a periodontics practice for nearly a year. It was during this time that I first realized the passion I had for dentistry and the important role periodontists play in patient care and oral health. It was also during this time that I realized: periodontics was the field for me.
From there, I earned my Doctorate in Dental Medicine at Case Western Reserve University. After that, I completed my specialty training in periodontics and advanced implantology at Indiana University, and earned a Master of Science in Dentistry degree before joining private practice here at Martin Periodontics.
I love my job because I get to work with and help patients of all ages and backgrounds. But no matter the patient or the treatment required, I always provide a gentle touch and take the time to listen to and understand the concerns, challenges, and needs of my patients. I strive to be calm and receptive, and to always focus on building fulfilling relationships with my patients. After listening to and examining my patients, I create individualized therapies and treatment plans that will support them on the path to dental health and having a smile they can feel great about.
In addition to caring for my patients, I am also co-director of three Seattle Study Club branches, where I regularly lecture and lead sessions alongside Dr. Martin in order to provide education to local dentists and dental hygienists.
Outside of the practice, I love exploring the Cincinnati area, spending time with family and friends, keeping up with the latest movies, traveling, and experimenting with recipes on my never-ending quest to cook like my mom. I also love animals and enjoy spending time with (and spoiling) my miniature dachshund, Lucy.

Hey mason friends do not go here they are very rude. First time going here and they did not file my claim through my insurance right. I have Atena insurance and they file it through medical and not dental. Then I got stuck with a bill 665 bucks because they do not know what they are doin here.It's all because they file my dental insurance through medical and not dental. When I call them they never pick up the phone Jenny there should not be working there she is so rude. And she does not know what she is doing this is a awful place to go. Do not go here.

So happy this place found me. I have been to four different doctors for my jaw and this is the first place that took me seriously and got me a diagnosis. Thank you so much to the entire staff!!

A very warm and welcoming practice. I was greeted as a new customer with a gift bag. The dental assistant was very attentive to my issues and concerned about my recovery. Dr. Martin spent the necessary time to review my X Ray and explain in detail his thoughts on what he felt my issue was and how to treat it. I felt comfortable with his recommendation in how to heal the gum issue I am having.

Highly recommend!! I was able to get in and get my issues fixed very quick. Dr. Martin is extremely knowledgeable and personable. All the staff are extremely friendly and super helpful. Even during these uncertain times they are just so welcoming and friendly where I have been in other offices where the uncertainty of these times have changed people's attitudes. Would give them more stars if possible just absolutely impressed with the services they provided.

Their staff is highly knowledgeable and doesn't charge you an arm and a leg. I met Kim, who was extremely kind and knowledgeable, and she walked me through the whole process of my treatment. I was super nervous about the price tag for my procedure, but they keep in mind your budget and try to make things affordable for you. I had a GREAT first appointment and I will be back soon to get my surgery done!

I was SO impressed with my first visit. Everyone at the office was SO friendly! Each person that worked with me took a few minutes to get to know me personally. They even had a welcome goodie bag for me! Not excited about return visits but SO thankful that it's going to with such a caring practice.

Dr Martin is always open and honest about the best course of treatment. Also, I am always given a breakdown of the costs, including a very accurate estimate of insurance coverage. The staff is absolutely wonderful. They are kind, attentive and a pleasure to work with.

I came to Dr. Martin's office with a complicated situation. I had just moved here a couple weeks before I was first seen in his office. He was highly recommended for me to go and see him for my implant That was done just a couple weeks before I left California and moved to Ohio. It was hurting. Dr. Martin found out right away what was wrong. Before I knew it I had an appointment with him and he fixed the problem. Like I said it was complicated because of my situation but I never felt his staff or Dr. Martin was impatient or irritated they were nothing more than kind, understanding, sympathetic and extremely gentle. In case I didn't mention I am the biggest chicken when it comes to going to the dentist and I felt like I was hanging out in my living room with friends. Nothing hurt I was so comfortable there. Truly an amazing doctor and staff!!
