Dr. Kevin W. Martin joined Martin Dentistry in 2003. He is a graduate of Furman University and the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry. Dr. Martin is a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honors Society and the Marguerite Dean Honorary Odontological Society. He is also a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentist, Advanced Dental Implant Study Group, American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association and the Greater Mountain Empire Dental Study Club. Dr. Martin graduated from the Georgia Regents University Dental Implant Maxi-Course in December of 2013. This course is widely regarded as the most comprehensive and in depth implant training program in the country. Dr. Martin attends multiple continuing educational courses each year on a range of topics. He is Invisalign Certified and has studied at the Dawson Center. Dr. Martin lives in Kingsport with his wife, Amanda, and their sons, Jackson and Cooper.

Prior to entering private practice, she completed a general practice residency at the University of Tennessee Medical Center, where she learned advanced treatment techniques in all areas of general dentistry as well as hospital dentistry and forensic dentistry. Dr. Allen practiced dentistry for three years in Atlanta, GA and two years in Dallas, TX before returning home to Kingsport.
Dr. Allen is a member of the ADA (American Dental Association), TDA (Tennessee Dental Association), and AAFE(American Academy of Facial Aesthetics). In addition to general dentistry, Dr. Allen offers cosmetic botox and facial aesthetic treatments for patients.
Dr. Armbrister has been a lifelong resident of the Tri-Cities area. Upon graduation from The University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in 2002, he returned to East Tennessee, practicing first in Greeneville and then moving his practice to Johnson City in 2010.
Dr. Armbrister is a member of the ADA, TDA and DOCS. He has been a certified Invisalign provider for over 15 years. For over a decade now, Dr. Armbrister has calmed the fears of anxious patients providing dental care with sedation dentistry and more recently added IV sedation to the list of services he provides.

Didn't feel like a priority. Took me in as a new patient when they were clearly over capacity. Never got to see an actual dentist let alone speak with one over the phone. I just needed some fillings and they constantly were trying to sell me on things like getting my wisdom teeth removed, getting root planing, etc. saying they didn't want to fill teeth until I got those done. One time I called in and asked if I could speak with my dentist over the phone to ask him a question about an upcoming procedure. I was told he'd get back to me. 1 week later I call in again and ask again, told he'd get back to me. 2 more times I give up. If you're going to accept my money as a patient I should be able to have a line of communication with a dentist. When I had to go to a different provider to get a root canal done, it was like pulling teeth (pun intended) to try and get them to send them my x-rays. New provided tried to contact them about it, I tried to contact them about it - they were almost reluctant to give them up. Took a while. Never actually got anything done here. Between the 1-2 month wait times for an appointment and them trying to upsell me I bailed out.

New patient. Great staff! Because of a cancelation I was able to get in earlier. Once exam finished a treatment plan was discussed, including the costs. Throughout the appt was always told that if I had any questions ask them and call after my appt with any questions or concerns. I have several follow-up appts scheduled. The practice was recommended to me and I would recommend to others.

For my cleaning, Hygienist Laura did a wonderful job and took special care to ensure I had great results and a wonderful experience. I am looking forward to my next visit to get started with taking care of my dental work. I truly and highly recommend Martin Dentistry. Now it's been over a year since my initial visit, and I am still very pleased with Martin Dentistry. On April 1, 2021, was my cleaning appointment. I have two wonderful hygienists. This trip was with Cynthia Henley. She is great and made me feel comfortable and welcomed. Before each task during the cleaning, she described what to take place and if I had any questions, she was responsive. Also, I have Laura Torbett as my hygienist which I see mostly. Even though I didn't see Laura this trip, she came by and spoke a while. I appreciate this very much. It shows the care and interest on Laura's part. Cynthia and Laura are the best. As of 7/12/2021 I had three crowns put in (had temps). Kelly took care of me and did a great job. Dr. Armbrister, DDS also took care of me. Martin Dentistry is the best place to go and and the best staff. October 14, 2021, I had my bi-yearly cleaning. Hygienist Laura Torbett is a wonderful person - so friendly and easy to talk to. I trust Laura ad Martin Dentistry and I know you can too!!l July 18, 2022, I went in to pick up night guard. Great fit and service by Martin Dentistry. They had to fit me for one. Average cost acceptable. October 27, 2022 I went in to have my 6-month cleaning. Laura Torbett (my Hygienist) takes great care in doing this. She is very professional and hospitable. She does a wonderful job and takes great care to see that I have no internal mouth issues (by an oral exam). She is very meticulous in her job. I appreciate that because it insures me that I am getting the best care possible. Actually, all of the Dental Hygienist are the best - Laura happens to be my Hygienist. I highly recommend Martin Dentistry.

I had oral surgery 3 weeks ago and I have had to go back multiple times. They have always been great. My final surgery is in September and I know I will be seeing a lot of them before that. Great staff.... FOLLOW UP... My surgery was last year. Little did I know my post were going to start falling out due to the negligence of not inserting a bar to equally distribute the force between each post. I now have to pay another $13,000 out of pocket to have yet another surgery to fix the problem. I will never go back to the Johnson City office again.

I have terrible anxiety with dental work. So much so I had avoided dental work for many years. The team members here made me feel so much more at ease.
