Dr. Martin C. Courtney received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from USC School of Dentistry in 1983. He has been providing excellent, gentle dental care to his patients for over 32 years. Dr. Courtney stays current with the latest advancements in the dental field by taking twice as many education courses as required by state law. Dr. Courtney is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association and San Fernando Valley Dental Society.
Donna is the first point of contact you will meet either on the phone or in person at Dr. Courtneys office. She comes to the office with over 30 years experience in the dental field. Donna started her career as a Registered Dental Assistant and found her true passion was working in the front office. However you may occasionally find her in the back office assisting Dr. Courtney when needed. When not in the dental office Donna enjoys spending time with her husband, 4 children and 7 grandchildren.
Wendy has been practicing in the dental field for over 30 years. Originallyfrom Northridge but grew up in Arizona where she earned her Associates ofArts in Dental Assisting. A year later decided to earn her Bachelors of Artin General Studies. After graduating from University of Arizona she moved toFlorida to enter to Dental Hygiene Program where she earned her Associatesof Science of Dental Hygiene. Wendy is a member of the Ventura CountyHygiene Association.
Jahne was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley. She graduated in 1998from Bryman College certified in dental assisting. She went on to continueher education and became a registered dental assistant in 2000. When she isnot assisting Dr Courtney chairside, she spends her time traveling andexploring the coast.
Cristina has been in the dental field for 26 years beginning her dental career while still in high school working as dental assistant. She then received her Bachelors degree in Dental Hygiene from USC, where she also went on to receive her Masters degree in Public Health. After graduating dental hygiene school, she was invited to join the clinical dental hygiene faculty at USC and taught in dental hygiene clinic for almost seven years. She was also the faculty director for the USC Mobile Dental Clinic hygiene department and has done numerous international dental charity missions.In her spare time, Cristina is training for the LA Marathon, a collector/wearer of vintage clothing, shopping antique stores and estate sales, and traveling to Mexico to visit family.

Dr. Courtney is terrific as is his entire staff. Donna got me in sooner as she promised, Christine did my cleaning with gentle care. Dr. Courtney is working on several of my needs. He is very committed and I trust his advice. Update... Had a replacement crown done by Dr. Courtney yesterday after a few hours I left with a permanent crown no temporary. He was nice enough to show me his state-of-the-art equipment where he makes everything in house. Have absolutely no pain and it fits pefect. Everyone was pleasant, you won't find a better dentist and I've been to many. 10/18/22 5 stars to Dr. Courtney and his staff. Excellent attention to all my concerns once again!

Staff and Dr. Courtney were very welcoming and nice. Went in for a consult on some pain and they did their work (without causing me any more pain) and explained what was happening and gave me a means to resolving it.

Dr. Courtney is our family dentist and we are so thankful to have been referred to him! He explains the details of each procedure in laymen's terms, so his patients thoroughly understand what to expect. He is an EXCELLENT doctor and we highly recommend him! Today was my first visit with Dr. Courtney and I was there to discuss having a bridge. Dr. .Courtney was very patient and listened attentively to my thoughts and concerns about previous dental work that brought me to him. He was extremely conscientious and thorough to determine if, in fact, I could have a bridge. He never rushed me through the process and by the end of my visit I knew I made the right decision to leave my previous dentist and become a permanent patient. The office staff is beyond amazing, especially Donna who is probably the most organized and efficient person I have ever met. I would like to add an addendum to this original post. Dr. Courtney has performed bridge work with me twice. Both were very different but the experience was the same. Dr. Courtney is an exceptional problem solver, creative, and he takes the word "conscientious" to an entire new level. He is a perfectionist and takes pride in his work. The results are spectacular and he takes great care with his patients to ensure they feel comfortable during all procedures. Give him a call, you will be so happy you did.

From the first moment I walked into Dr Courtney's office I felt at home. Donna is such a welcoming person and greeting me by name and made me feel special. Dr Courtney is so professional and very easy to talk to. Cristina my hygienist was the best! Kept my jaw relaxed and from being over strained plus she was so gentle and thorough. Cristina is there on Tuesday's and I will schedule for her again! Best cleaning I ever had. They weren't trying to sell me gadgets and things I don't need. All of Dr Courtney's office took wonderful care of me!

Always feel welcome by Donna, Dr Courtney and all the other staff and everything is explained in greatest details. Appreciate that vey much. Me and my family have been coming there for years and we are not going anywhere. Parking is free and it's always parking available which is a plus. Would highly recommend
