Dr. Amanda Alon is an Assistant Professor of Pediatric Dentistry at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Throughout the years Dr. Amanda has had the privilege of working with children in many different environments. These environments include, her time as a Schweitzer Fellow working with the children of Lawrence, MA, and her time as a part-time middle school Spanish teacher at Lawrence Catholic Academy, Lawrence, MA.
Dr. Amanda was born and raised in Methuen, MA and obtained her B.A. in Biology from Boston University. She attended Boston University School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts where she earned her M.S. in Oral Health Sciences and the Boston University School of Dental Medicine where she earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine. Dr. Amanda completed her 2-year Post-Graduate Program in Pediatric Dentistry at New York University/ Bellevue Hospital in New York City, New York.
Dr. Amanda is committed to providing safe quality pediatric dental care to her patients in a fun and friendly manner. Dr. Amanda is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD). When she is not at the dental office, she enjoys her free time running and supporting her Boston University cheerleading team.

In our Kids Zone, your little one can enjoy games and videos at the iPad station. We also have TVs with Netflix in the operatories to keep children at ease and entertained during their treatment. I cannot say enough good things about marshfield pediatric dentistry. I have a very hesitant toddler and they do a phenomenal job of not just creating a fun atmosphere, but also being patient, kind, and including him in the process by showing him how each tool is used. They go above and beyond to make sure our children are comfortable and it truly shows. By the end of his appointment he didn't want to leave and even begged me to go back the whole ride home.

Dr. Julie and her staff are amazing. We all love going to the dentist, me in amazement of how great everyone is with the kids, my kids love it, because of how fun the office, and the entire visit is! So grateful to have such kind and caring people, caring for our kids.

Marshfield Pediatric Dentistry is amazing. They are very clean and there's never a wait. When they call you in, the first thing your child does is pick out a new toothbrush. Then they take the time to show your child that it is a fun and safe place. They first brush a stuffed animal's teeth, then they show/let your child play with the water flosser and suction tools so they won't be afraid. They pretend to brush your teeth to help them feel comfortable with the idea. You sit with your child on your lap and they recline you so they can see cocomelon playing on the tv on the ceiling. Then they pick out a prize at the end. My son loved it so much he cried when we left! If you want your child to have a pleasant experience and a good relationship with their dental hygiene, I would highly recommend Marshfield Pediatric Dentistry.

Today I went with my son and granddaughter and I was amazed by the caring and amazing treatment we had.They are an amazing pediatric dentist office. If you have a child that is going to a dentist. Please go there!!! I can't thank them enough for the great job they did today. They were caring and the assistant's we're in sync with this soothing way. I can't even explain. Thank you all!!! Love this place, Addie was so scared on her first visit and it went pretty well. This 2nd thine was a home run! Addie loved the staff and their friendly manner and loved how all the instruments they had to use had a name and were explained. Gentle and very kid friendly dentist! Make your appointment!

We love Dr. Julie and everyone at Marshfield Pediatric Dentistry! My daughter is excited to go to the dentist! They are so relaxed and calm. They make going to the dentist a fun experience. Their COVID precautions are safe and effective but children are still able to enjoy the experience. I highly recommend them to anyone with kids.

We are very happy with Marshfield Pediatric Dentistry. They were able to accomodate all FOUR of my children at the same time! My youngest was nervous and crying before the appointment and afterwards she was asking when she could go back! They have netflix for the kids to watch while they are having their procedures/cleanings done, prizes and great toothbrush options for the kids. It really made them all feel at ease. I am so happy we made the switch

Nothing but wonderful things to say about Marshfield Pediatric Dentistry! They deserve more than 5 stars! We started bringing our son here when he was one, they are so friendly and patient. He gets excited to come back and use "mr. thirsty" and pick out his new toothbrushes.

Dr. Julie and staff are so friendly and compassionate towards patients of all ages. The office is bright, cheery and welcoming and a fun experience for all! Dr. Julie has been checking on my little guy's teeth since his very first one! Highly recommended!!

The place is amazing. Dr Julie and her staff create a great environment and experience for your little ones. The facility has state-of-the art equipment and is spotless throughout. My 4yo son literally said "I love going to this dentist, they're so nice". If you're looking for a first time appt or new facility...you can't go wrong with Marshfield Pediatric Dentistry!
