Dr. Sandra Ameri was born and raised in Saddle River, New Jersey. She attended Albright College where she played soccer on the womens varsity soccer team and earned her B.S degree in Biology and Spanish. After graduating college, she then attended the prestigious University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2009. Dr. Ameri was chosen to work in the Medically Compromised Clinic, an honors clinic, before earning her degree her senior year.
We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Guilbert Maria to Marshfield Dental Group! As a third generation dentist, Dr. Maria has always had a strong interest in restorative and cosmetic dentistry. A 2019 graduate of Boston University School of Dental Medicine, he is currently a member of several dental associations, including the South Shore Dental Society, American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Maria believes that the community plays a critical part to his success as a dentist. He says, I view myself as part of a vital network of caretakers who look after the health and well being of our friends and neighbors. My dedication to the community goes beyond just caring for teeth. His patient philosophy includes providing comfortable and patient-focused care. Dr. Marias special interests include emergency, general, cosmetic, and pediatric dentistry, as well as orthodontics, endodontics, periodontics and oral surgery. He is also Invisalign certified.
When he is not at the office, Dr. Maria enjoys traveling, reading & sports, especially baseball, basketball, football and hockey. Originally from the Dominican Republic, Dr. Maria currently resides in Foxborough. He is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

Caring, thoughtful and friendly. I've been a patient of the Marshfield Dental Group for seven years now, and Dr Ameri and her team are wonderful to work with. I.always feel like I'm receiving the best dental care, and I'm greeted warmly as soon as I walk in the door. This is a great dental practice!
