Dr. Skopp, DMD is one of the best dentists in Staten Island, NY. He has been practicing for 30 years and graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) in 1990. Dr. Skopp accepts multiple insurance plans and practices family dentistry.

This is the backbone of what we do as dentists. Teeth cleanings are a terrific service because, although brushing and flossing are great oral-care habits, we have instruments that get your teeth even cleaner, and with minimal pain or intrusion.
Nowadays, we use dental implants made from very strong materials (usually titanium alloy) that last several years with minimal upkeep. Its no surprise why this has become one of the most popular and effective ways to address missing teeth.
Whether you need a few teeth replaced, a whole row, or even your entire mouth, dentures are very helpful. We can implant these as well, but patients often utilize the kind that you remove and clean each day.
We wish to emphasize the fact that our dental services are for everyone: adults and children alike. Our staff of trained dental technicians not only treat patients and do cleanings, but we deliver full comprehensive customer service. I took my 3 year old nephew to him a year ago because I was worried about the development of his teeth and he charged me an exorbitant amount of money and DID NOTHING. He put some flouride on and didn't even examine him. Now I took my nephew to a dentist who actually cares and found out that he has multiple cavities and needs all kinds of emergency dental work. This dentist is terrible stay far away.

Hands down the best dentist anywhere around! Completly different experience than anywhere else. DR Skopp explains everything he is about to do, and makes your comfortability his main priority. If you have any fear of dental visits, this is the place to go!!

I've been going to Dr. Skopps office since I was a little girl. He has taken care of my teeth that I never needed braces and had minimal to no cavities. He takes pba and city insurances. I'd recommend him to all city workers.

Best dentist on the island he takes care of my whole family and he works miracles my 9year old had a real bad bike accident last year and chipped his two front adult teeth and we lost all hope and thanks to Dr.Skopp he fixed them oral health is so important I highly recommend going to Dr.Skopp

Dr. Skopp and his team are amazing. I scheduled appointments for myself, my husband and my 8 year old son. The receptionists were beyond kind and accommodating when I had to reschedule our initial appointments. Upon visiting Dr. Skopp today, I loved that the office was clean and inviting. Dr. Skopp was SO GENTLE and PATIENT during our cleanings and exams. He explained all next steps and answered any questions confidently. Not to mention he has a great sense of humor that helped us all relax and have a great experience overall. I highly recommend Dr. Skopp for all of your dental needs!!!

I prematurely wrote a poor review over a big miscommunication .... as an updated review I would like to say that Dr. Skopp and his entire staff are very nice ... a well run, clean, organized dental office. very comfortable atmosphere with little to no wait time. I am surely going to refer my friends and family to him (sounds so cliche to say that line lol) but its true!

20 years Of knowing this Man.Always polite and funny.When I had my trucking company back 15 years ago I did a move for him from Staten Island to a family member house in Brooklyn.Thats when we bonded and he was my personal friend and doctor since then.I commute to Staten Island from New Jersey just so I can have him work on my mouth.You go on other dentists blog and hear praises but how long have you had your dentist.20 years I know what I'm talking about.

Have to say that after having my first dentist appointment during the Covid 19 pandemic with my 2 sons I felt super safe. I called when I arrived and waited in my car, they called me when the patient prior to us left. Everyone had on a mask and gave us temperature checks and hand sanitizer upon entry. We were the only people in the dentist office besides the staff that went above and beyond to make us feel safe. Everything was clean and sanitized. I highly recommend making your appointment with him, he is an awesome dentist - down to earth and explains everything thoroughly. They go out of their way to accommodate you and make you feel comfortable. I know with all of the concerns during this scary time feeling safe is super important. Dr Skopp and his staff did just that.
