There are no words to describe how great a doctor Dr. Alter is. My family and I were lucky enough to have him for a few years before our insurance changed. My parents still have him as their dentist. He is the kindest, most compassionate dentist you will find in NJ and if you have an emergency he is there for you!

I thought all dentists were the same. They definitely are not. Dr. Alter is an artist in this field. Pain management and caring are his specialties. He can also be a comedian as well. (probably not his specialty though) but I will say this, I'm privileged to be a patient of his. I'm sure all of his other patients can say the same.

He is very patient and my son doesn't mind going to the Dentist! We have been with Dr. Alter for 6 years.

As a surgeon that works closely with Dr. Alter and his patients, I can only give my highest regard and compliment to his office and his staff for providing the highest level of patient care and clinical outcome. A great practice!!

Dr. Alter and his staff squeezed my friend in on short notice after she found out she needed a root canal days before moving across the country and losing her dental insurance! He completed the restoration on her root canaled tooth and after she couldn't stop talking about how gentle he was and how comfortable he made her feel before and during the procedure. I'll definitely recommend other friends and family here in the future!
