Dr. Wendy grew up in Fairport where she knew she wanted to be a dentist since Girl Scouts. She received her BS degree in biology from Syracuse University with a minor in psychology. She then graduated from University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, where she concurrently conducted research for the Department of Oral Pathology. Her post-graduate training was completed at the University of Rochester General Practice Residency Program at Strong Memorial Hospital. Above and beyond the educational requirements in dentistry, Dr. Wendy has been certified in Sedation Dentistry since 2009 and has had additional training in Cosmetic Dentistry, Dental Implant restorations, Oral Surgery, Endodontics, Adult Orthodontics, and Dental Traumatology. Wendy previously worked as one of the team dentists for the Buffalo Sabres and Rochester Amerks sports organization. She was part of a dental team that was responsible for treating onsite injuries and fabrication of custom mouthguards for the team.
Dr. Wendy lives in Victor with her husband Shawn and sons Paxton and Dane. Over the years since the office opened in 2014, she has really enjoyed being the only dentist in Victor who lives in Victor. This gives her a huge opportunity to run into patients somewhere besides a dental setting, like at school or at Wegmans! Her personal cell phone is always available to patients when the office isnt open to help out in any dental emergency situation. Dr. Wendy does like to enjoy golf, but isnt any good at it anymore because she is so busy. Her favorite thing to do is save up vacation time and spend it traveling somewhere she has never been to before.
In her spare time, she likes to ride bikes, travel and spend time with her family. She has two grown daughters whom we have had the privilege as an office to watch grow up and start lives of their own. Marshall Dental Care is very fortunate to have Kathy as part of the team.
Hilarie has been a dental assistant since 2011 and joined Dr. Wendys team in 2017. Hilarie also assists with sedation, oral surgery, pediatrics, and cosmetic dentistry, and is constantly adding new techniques to all of the procedures. Hilarie is advanced CPR/AED certified as well. Hilarie drives in from Marion every day to see patients and is cross-trained at the front desk for when they are in need of extra help.
Ashley has been a registered dental hygienist since 2012 when she graduated from Erie Community College with her AAS degree in dental hygiene. She has also completed her certification to give local anesthesia and nitrous oxide to our patients. Ashley joined the Marshall Dental Care team this past summer in 2020 which was a breath of fresh air during the pandemic! She has been a positive role model for the office and transitioned in with ease - most likely due to her caring personality! Ashley is also advance CPR/AED trained.
Ashley lives in Penfield with her husband Mike, two young children and her two dogs. When she isnt chasing around the little ones, she enjoys doing projects around the house and get togethers with friends and family.
Jennifer is a registered dental hygienist who has brought dental experience to our office since 2004. She is a graduate of Monroe Community College with her AAS degree in Dental Hygiene and has worked with our office since 2009. Upon graduation, she was awarded the Proctor and Gamble Award in recognition of her knowledge in the Preventive Aspects of Dental Disease. Jennifer is also advanced CPR/AED certified, dental anesthesia certified and nitrous oxide certified (laughing gas) in New York State. Jen and Dr. Wendys friendship started all the way back when they were classmates in 1st grade at Brooks Hill Elementary School in Fairport, NY! Their families have been great friends ever since!
Jennifer lives in Victor with her husband Rick and their 2 dogs. She has 2 grown sons, Dale and Connor. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, boating, skiing and spending time with family and friends.
Brandy came to our office originally part time in 2016 with over 6 years of experience. We like to think that great minds think alike, and Brandy joined us at a full-time position in September 2018 to help accommodate our growing practice. Brandy graduated from Monroe Community College with distinction, where she earned her AAS degree in Dental Hygiene and Liberal Arts. In 2014 she completed certification to also give local anesthesia and nitrous oxide to our patients. She is also advanced CPR/AED trained.
Outside the office, she enjoys running, working out, running some more and spending time with her husband Taylor and dog Smitty. Brandy and Taylor welcomed their first baby girl in the fall of 2019 and she is looking forward to being a mom. Brandys forte is working with children in the office, so this should come quite easily to her!

I wanted to take a few weeks post procedure before writing a review cause I'm a very impolsive person and I didnt want my feelings to get in the way of writing an honest review. Let me first state my religious beliefs has nothing to do with this review or anything Dr. Wendy did a fantastic job keeping my phobia in check with allowing me to go under sedation during my full work up on my teeth, I was happy that I didn't have to be aware of what was going on as I have a huge fear of dentist. I was able to get my whole mouth done, no pain , no fear nothing. I didn't have any sensitivity afterwards or gum pain. Just some minor jaw pain which I guess is expected but nothing that some Tylenol couldn't help with. I'm very blessed that I found a dentist that was able to help with what I needed even when I put my foot down on a certain matter which I won't go into due to my religion. . But all in a I would HIGHLY recommend Marshall Dental Care to anyone who is fearful of going to a dentist. The staff is extremely friendly and caring. Now if I could force myself to go back for a cleaning we would be good. But not sure I will be able to muster up that bravery anytime soon .

I have always been afraid of the dentist and needed my first ever cavity filled. I left wondering what the heck I have been so afraid of!!! The entire staff was incredibly kind, patient, and supportive. They walked me through exactly what they would be doing and even followed up with me after my procedure. I never thought I could love a dentist office.....but, I DO!!!

I continue to be impressed and touched by the folks at Marshall Dental Care of Victor. My teeth felt the "pinch" (literally) of the pandemic and Dr. Marshall, Cathy and Hillary went above and beyond to assist me with the resulting dental challenges. They showed patience, kindness, competency and generosity of spirit and, for that, I am genuinely grateful for each and every one of them. A shout out to Ashley too, my hygienist, who is friendly, gentle and thorough in her approach to teeth cleaning! I highly recommend this office! My recent regular cleaning appointment evolved to include time to repair a cracked cap. What an amazingly kind and caring team ~ Ashley, Kathy, Annie and Wendy. Thank you for being you ~ much gratitude! I continue to highly recommend this office! Another cap cracked ~ Covid really did get the best of me. Thank you Dr. Marshall and Annie for your empathy, kindness and understanding. You have made navigating an extremely frustrating time manageable. I found Dr Wendy when FL Dental opened in Victor. Like a lot of people, I long had anxiety about going to the dentist, and skipped several years all together. That all changed and I have not missed an appointment in 8+ years. The hygienists and Dr Wendy are excellent in making you feel comfortable. From their genuine friendliness, to oral care, there has not been one step of a visit that has made me uncomfortable. I truly appreciate this team of professionals. I highly recommend Marshall Dental Care to everyone.

Recently I spent almost 2 hours in a dental chair, having 2 teeth prepped for crowns. While this might seem like the beginning of a horror story, nothing could be further from the truth. You see, I was in Dr. Wendy Marshall's Victor office, not in pain or fear, but being treated in a comfortable and soothing environment by the wonderful Dr. Marshall and her caring and efficient staff. I highly recommend Dr. Marshall & her team for your entire family.

I cannot recommend Marshall Dental Care enough! I came to the office with many issues and was treated with care. Dr. Wendy is amazing at her craft, I highly trust and respect her. Kathy is a wonderful person and so helpful. From the moment you walk in the door, you know you are at the right place! The whole team at Marshall Dental Care has been amazing!! My family and I needed a new dentist and the reviews online are SPOT ON! Dr. Wendy knows what she is doing and is very personable. I needed a cavity filled and the whole team (including my dental hygienist Annie and the receptionist Tina) made the entire process easy! Everything was well explained and the follow up after any procedure has been very comforting. Tina worked with me and my schedule and got me in ASAP as well as my husband! Annie was such a joy and made me feel at ease in the chair. I cannot recommend enough; professionalism all around and a great environment. Thank you Dr. Wendy and team!!
